Since I found out about this, my mind went from happily singing along: "Beat the heart of Sabik, the heart of Sabik, the heart of Sabiiiik" to contemplating if I should just go with the flow and just sing about Tacos instead. But I don't know if I should hate or love it. But I think I tend more to disliking :/

@@kentanakamura89 unless it's from the base expansion picks, where the overuse of the 3-4 new motifs get a variation for every style of music to bump the ost count to 25+. Then I have favourites, because after picking a fav the other tracks just become lesser covers to an extent. (E.g. "Solid" is my fav HW motif track, making other versions meh.

Honestly that’s why everyone was afraid ff14 was going to be replaced by ff16 until it was announced that ff16 isn’t an mmo, ff14 is just hitting its stride and in terms of the quality of its content, player numbers and just amazing atmosphere I would say it’s on par with the greats of the MMO industry, if not the best MMO in existence rn

@@TonyBMan Ultima required the Ultima Weapon to stand still and charge it up for a decent amount of time, required a one off artefact that probably isn't easy to replicate, and had some pretty hefty downtime between uses. Even if Optimised Ultima isn't as powerful, making it faster, replicable, and easier to use is worth the trade-off in the long run.

@@TonyBMan probably making it less destructive overall and make it more controlled. I imagine they can modify spells, since they can even make new ones.

@@yolteotlixtli1557 true but garlemald is the super industrialized nation that utilizes ceruleum to power itself which is pretty much midgar using mako energy. Also possible it could be part of the next normal raid expansion like someone mentioned but I think ff7 bosses/content wouldn't be tacked on as part of an expansion to a raid already somewhat established I believe the will make it frontline content for an expansion

As horrifying as that would be, it would only (possibly) be the combat data up until we fought Aulus Mal Asina (whom they should've kept alive for this storyline, since he is literally XIV-Hojo.) which is quite powerful, but perhaps not enough to actually threaten us as a whole since it would only be as powerful as Zenos was in Ala Mhigo. A healthy speed bump, nothing more.

I can imagine the Garlond Ironworks crew coming up with the idea of using “programed” auracite to counteract Nael’s persona, like a virus/anti-virus. The problem would be in the implementation; and what, or who’s data could be used as a basis; and possibly with several funtions. If I remember; the properties of auracite being used for absorbtion and amplification. If the auracite can have the primary funtion to, let’s just say, “strengthen” a given host’s, or whoever you call it, “soul”; then the artifical “psudo” personality(Nael) will probably be weakened, or purged-if given I remember how soulmancy works in the game? To put it simply. It would mean to fight fire, with fire. Whoever’s idea was to use Nael’s personality/combat data, must be comparable to Zenos; or it might have been the ceruleum.
