after chilling out a bit i thought to myself "hey, i could go and watch V3S guide and join a learning party!" then after watching this guide i am like..... damm let me watch another episode of that show i was watching and chilling with :-P
dont be intimidated, it may look confusing and all but once you practice it itll be okay, there will be wipes and confusing times but if other people did it then so can you
u must have a IQ of 9000 to understand and figure out this fights mechanics. idk how angered fc figured and mastered this fight. my brain just clicked off half way. gj on kill btw happs idk how u did it with pugs.
Angered definitely impressed with the rate at which they unraveled some of the mechanics, but the main thing that makes this tier feel easier than others is that information is VERY clearly presented. Its rare you'll see a mechanic and have to take more than a few pulls to understand how the game wants it done. Definitely lends itself to faster clears
The thing that makes this fight difficult is the amount of pre-fight conversation required to get everyone on the same page. Communicating with random people in Discord is almost necessary if you don't have fancy positioning macros. Therefore this fight lends itself to people with a static. Not a complaint just an observation.
We did it without Discord in the last PUG I did it with, mostly you just do this rq at the beginning of a PUG assuming everyone knows the basics of the fight. 1.) Lay down a waymarker and stand around it for Waltz assignments 2.) Tanks go N, DPS go S for Forest Waltz 3.) Assign each player a position for Library 4.) Establish Healer First, Tank Second, DPS third for last phase playing field. It gets length if people in the PF have never done it before and have done no research, but in that case you'll generally only establish stuff for up to Mountain Phase anyway because they need to learn the mechanics by seeing them first anyway.
Pugs are not the focus of this games endgame. The fights are designed with organization in mind. SE wants you to tackle this content with statics. If you happen to want to pug despite that, its up to you to deal with the disadvantages.
r u sure that the books are random? both yuuna and ur clips of the books show that 1 tank, 1 heal, and 2 dps are always chosen unless its very coincidental
It doesn't look that hard it just has so many things to remember, which means you need a group of 8 friends who you know very well and are willing to spend a full day playing with you, meaning it's kinda impossible at least for me
TheAzureKite it's not impossible but considering that I still can't beat zurvan ex because I was not playing at the time of release and now I 'm stuck with practice parties , Zurvan is simple this is complicated not hard or impossible just complicated, but the best chance to get a clear in now since the good players are still practicing hopefully
Ive been around since the begining and cleared final coil. Once Alex came out and the lomg drought of anything good I quit all silly raids, I have much more fun as a casual :)
