We know, we all know, BLM's. You'll never let anyone forget the fact you have to deal with ley lines, though you'll also never be a loldrg. The difference is, you choose to stay in your circle and die, drgs are genetically engineered to floor tank.
Its great at how they used ATB for this concept! It's one of my favorite battle systems and it feels like it can definitely work in multiplayer if optimized correctly. Here every player's ATB bar is in different speeds, but still pretty fast (though I do wanna see how the global cooldown of 2.5 seconds would affect the battles as well). It makes me curious about how they were planning on making the FFXIV battle system like this, since the global cooldown system reminds me of ATB.
This literally just happened to me... Dragoon (and all the other DPS for a matter of fact) kept dying to random crap. Dragoon himself fell off early on. AND HE WON THE PONY! And I got no commendations despite practically solo healing the whole fight cus the other healer joined the DPS in dying to plumes. White Mage Problems.
The ending of this video really stings. Just ran Ifrit EX with people in PF. I keep telling them how to do mechanics, almost everyone still dies anyway because they don't listen. I try to Verraise the Healer, but he doesn't accept it, so I rez everyone without him. Finally everyone is listening to me about the mechanics and Ifrit dies. He drops a mount. The Healer that stayed dead the whole fight gets it by doing fucking nothing.
Everyone that dies gets a rez except the dragoon but it's not always because they are punted off the platform. That has happened to me as a dragoon when I was still on the platform. I didnt say a word, just lay there. I joke about dragoons dying more than other jobs because... We do. If they are fine with me out of the action, then ok I still get credit, etc.
he laughs because the dragoon is a noob player, he make shit, he fail and die when combat starting, and finaly, he drop the loot without participating in the fight :o ( like a reality in the game xd always the noob guy win the treasure xd )
This is the first time I've done translation work like this, and my Japanese is pretty terrible, but here's what I'm seeing: リンクパールから声が聞こえる。。。 (You hear a voice coming from the Linkpearl...) 。。。聞こえるかしら? (...I wonder what you hear?) わたしよミンフィリア ("It's Minfillia!") こんなネタ動画なんて見てないで (I'm not watching this cutscene!) 砂の家。。。。。。。。。。じゃなくて (It's....not the Waking Sands) 札幌まで来てくれるかしら? (I wonder what's coming from Sapporo?) [Sapporo is where this Live Letter was] それじゃ待ってるわね。 (Well, I guess I'll wait.) It could totally be a swing and a miss here, but my education would greatly appreciate any corrections. =) I'm thinking the last two lines might refer to looking forward to Sapporo? "I wonder what we'll find out from Sapporo?" Also, the Waking Sands line might be more like, "Not the Waking Sands again..."? Referring to how you always have to ride back to the Waking Sands?
tedsixzero "Like reality" - So it is reality because you say so right? During my playtime I saw enough people failing and the dragoon didnt fail much more than any other class did.
I played Pal as my main, but leveled dragon to play DD whenever i wanted to rest from tanking, And i remember when i used to do coil 1 on dragon people congratulated me for not dying, y even loled
+delukard07 supposedly Dragoon was really popular back then, but people fucked up...like a lot, so people ended up hating Dragoons. So i guess this is like a way of saying how like back then Dragoons fucked up the most, yet SOMEHOW they get the shit that everyone wants
A couple different trials on my ast, my co-healers constantly got thrown off of titan HM of all things. I dodge landslides fine. Oh and btw I main drg ))
Healers need to predict the boss, a healer that struggles in HM needs to train, study and see the "what", the "how" and "when", otherwise he is screwed in extreme, if you don't know the boss well in HM, extreme will be a disaster, at least, that's how it was back in the day...
+guy onyoutube I find stacking more often to be the issue with randoms on Titan EX. Sure, landslides always get someone at the key moment when you're close to actually clearing it, but poor stacking and gaol placement causes just as many if not more wipes. My first clear took about 20 attempts. I was War tanking it for the first time and offtank kept getting punted. I was trying to solo tank, it wasn't pretty (learned how to damage mitigate pretty effectively while surviving 5+ stacks of mountain buster, so that was good).
