LMAO, when I heard they were doing another phase with new music for Bahamut in this, I joked that it was going to be Golden Bahamut like in Ultimate Coil. Can't believe I was actually kind of right.
It's amazing. We were this close to having at least a grand closure with this game with the final 3 DLCs. And they get cancelled and stuffed into a book. Freaking Square Enix.
Imagining this song playing while reading the novel...such a great potential lost...I can almost imagine we would play with Noctis, staying the gargoyles sent by Bahamut while flying in the King of Light mode, Lunafreya above Eos preparing the ritual and then Bahamut releasing Teraflare. That was incredible...abd it will be just that, a dream.
For real, this one is easy to make fight for as his command of swords can lead to a lot of mech unhindered by look. And the area itself is surrounded by other summons too.
This is actually from his former student Tsutomu Narita hence why it actually sounds like this song he composed in the past. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-axIU-txgn6o.html
Just recently found out that song was composed by Tsutomu Narita. It is called "Wrath of Swords". I can hear similarities to some of his work on Granblue Fantasy. If not for the game itself, give the soundtrack a try.
I still remember the first time I did this fight, my mom happened to walk in in the middle of the fight and her only comment was "That's cool!" Though I *was* annoyed that the final battle for the games *Multiplayer Mode* had to be beaten "solo" (I don't really count AI allies as "help") to actually make the multiplayer version of the fight available. If I wanted a grand spectacle of a battle that I had to fight and beat on my own, then I'd stick to the Astral battles in the single-player story.... But honestly, that's just a minor gripe as far as I'm concerned. :)
Bahamut doesnt fuck around. Also always wondered how he would look with more screen time and the animations and movements are awesome. This guy vs ff14 bahamut.... who is more badass and on an even-ish power level who would win
This Bahamut managed to job against Ifrit, who is about 10 times smaller than him. FF14's Bahamut managed to job to a decrepit old man pretending to be a bird. I think the real question is, which of them failed to live up to their bluster the hardest?
Technically FFXIV's bahamut managed to break a seal created by 12 gods (the prayers of a continent), to then be defeated at the last second by goddess Hydaelyn that gave her power to the old man. So yeah, bahamut managed to fight 13 gods before being defeated, and laid waste to an entire continent, winning over the heroes of light too. A pretty fucking monster in all the senses, you don't even fight him in his "real" form in T13, and that form is already a challenge to defeat
Whoa. Even out of FFXIV's stuff, this is the first track that has sounded like a 'classic Uematsu' for me in a long time, and it's not even him. Amaaaaazing theme.
@Mike Hussion: It actually IS Uematsu for this one. For the DLC for FFXV, they actually had various other composers besides Yoko Shimomura compose it and for the Comrades DLC they had Uematsu do all the songs for it.
And by shitty build I mean, really shitty build, Imperial X-blades lvl 60, Clarity shield, lvl 50, Dancing Daggers, lvl 30, and a poorly made lvl 99 Dragon Whisker (no Cid buff, and I only leveled it with Chrome Bits) I did put behemoth tears in it so it did have 2 penetrator X in it atleast but it had shit stats.
@@Zenrieszsame here I was using Imperial X-Blades, Clarity Shield, Golden Axe and Samoji Blade, beat Comrades weeks ago and still play it including the main game, one of my favorites in the entire franchise besides IX & VII
@@Jumonji Comrades has a semi active community on discord^^ Comrades is probably the most fun multiplayer game i've ever played. As a Finn it really sucks for me but Comrades has a decent active community but they're all american haha
I imagine the Bahamut boss in Episode Noctis having 2 phases. One as Ardyn in the beyond, assisted by the Kings of yore, and one as Noctis in the physical world.
quality isn't great i hope they will release ost soon. just something i've notice on video, when you fight bahamut and the prompt guard come you have to go the neareast possible, ou cant counter his sword, if you're not into guard then fight in air, that's what i did with shuriken by spaming warp strike and i've beat him i think i was 30-40, and AI is great, he recover you quickly
They better make a boss fight between Ardyn and Bahamut in Episode Ardyn, and the theme better be a mix between Apocalypsis and Ardyn 2... How about: Apocalypsis Draco?
I hate this because it destroys the lore set up in the actual game. Bahamut was only made the villain because of Ardyns damn popularity with episode Ardyn. Destroy a whole game worth of lore to milk that damn popularity for cash. Sorry but destroying the Starscourge came first and the plan the Astrals had was a pragmatic one but a necessary sacrefice to save Eos.
Sorry, but Ardyn was a popular villain even before any DLC came out. And Bahamut was there only to tell Noctis he must die to destroy the Scourge and Ardyn without providing any information about how exactly the world ended like that. Too many things were rushed and unsaid in the original game. That is why people (including me) keep accepting the additional story that came later.
@@Fraxinus1986 but the lore before Dawn of the Future was solid. Bahamut was a pragmatist considering it was ifrit that started the Star Scourge to begin with.
@@Fraxinus1986 It destroys even the words spoken by Shiva to Noctis about the reason for the War and its consequences. All Dotf is a timeline created specifically for two things: subverting the themes of the game for a more typical one in JRPGs and redeeming Ardyn.
