I've been waiting for YEARS for this theme. This FIGHT. Seeing Big Bang sends chills down my spine as FF4 was the game that got me into this series and still means so much to me. GOD they did this fight justice.

That bass solo had so much STANK on it.

I like how if you queue to this fight from anywhere, the drop syncs exactly with the light pillars from Azem's summoning, a very cool detail

I love how it's starts as generic orchestra, then in one second crumbles into the beautiful abomination. And intro fits cutscene perfectly. You are hearing the boss battle, you wait for your comrades to teleport, then music changes. And you feel the urgency.

Sounds like a mix of the original Zeromus theme + Zodiark theme a bit, which is pretty cool.

This track kept me 100% hype during the Extreme learning parties.

I love how they kept to the discordancy of the original while leaning on the insistency of the tempo. Excellent work.

This honestly sounded like music you would hear during a boss fight in Metroid, heck the whole boss looked like something out of that series to me, and it made me love the heck out of it. Like some giant Space Pirate that got horribly mutated and blown up from some experiment gone horrifically wrong, or right, knowing how those Space lunatics think, lol. But yeah, amazing fight, a banger of a soundtrack. A tier battle as always.

I was waiting for this track since we learned about Golbez. Blew my expectations and when that final phase hit and changed I literally teared up from nostalgia.

This fight is Zodiark on crack, and I love it.

I had to look this song up after doing the trial, just barely uploaded by a minute, lol

drum and bass, venjent make me love this genre, now soken bring this, WHAT A YEAR!!!

Don't know if anything wrong happened with anyone else's Trial experience but my whole instance got some massive bugs where everyone was getting each other's buffs, passives, or abilities completely breaking because we couldn't finish them. Couldn't use Microcosmos or Swiftcast cause someone else in the party had it, melees couldn't use finishers cause healers had their combo buff. And this song just added to the total insanity of it. We cleared but it was such a wild experience lol.

It's such a great homage to FFIV. Has parts that reminds me of Chrono Trigger too actually. I've loved every part of the FFIV story fitting into the FFXIV world. I had really been expecting Zero to be the Azem of the 13th, but after this patch, I can't help but wonder if maybe the original Golbez was based on the descriptions Durante gives.

Me and a friend were doing the patch together, she was a little bit ahead of me because of some things, but while I was still in Subterrae, I received two texts from her, which were "IMPOSTER", and "POKÉMON!?" Needless to say this does legit use the soundfont Pokémon Black & White did, or, instrument files or whatever idk music! Edit, 20/3/24: This, Rokkon, Aloalo, and Thaleia are all very, bittersweet now, considering the circumstances around them. I did them all with the aforementioned friend but, early December 2023 she kinda just, left my life. I still don't really know why she did, or why she changed so, drastically, but I do know that I'll treasure these instances and memories even with the pain attached to them now. Thank you for loving me, Evalyn, and showing me that it is possible for people to love me. I hope that wherever you are you're doing well and can deal with, whatever issues caused what happened to happen, and that you enjoy Pictomancer as well. -Vivi

Final Fantasy 4 (2 in USA) was my absolute favorite. the whole Endwalker post MSQ story line has been so much fun for me. I was excited for this theme and the fight didn't disappoint either.

I was going trough the msq with some fc members i was yelling "He loooks sick!!!!" As a big fan of FF4 the whole story was amazing for me

This fight was already amazing to begin with but this song is FIRE. Definitely made the experience more amazing for a boss that could destroy EVERYTHING.

Man..... The original FF4 theme for this fight was epic as a kid. Back when we first saw the moon in the first Rising seasonal event. When we finally met Yoshi and his staff along with all the Easter Eggs??? Bro..... All I could dream of was a FF4 crossover and the epic music from it. To think we'd get a fleshed out story of Cecil & Rosas world destroyed. A reunion with Golbez and these epic themes!!!! A lot of people have pooped on the Wndwalker post game, but these events completely make my old heart all warm. The games we grew up loving reborn again!!!!! My heart wheb phase 2 and the Red Wings Theme kicks in...... Oh boy.....

I had PTSD when Big Bang went off and the backgruond changed, as it immediatley made me think of Grand Cross Delta from Neo Exdeath in Deltascape. Granted albeit I'm thankful this fight was a Execution Ex and not a Puzzle fight like 4th floor savage fights. I can't imagine the hell Zeromus would of been had its fight been put on par with like P4s P8s or P12s. But I can already imagine how a Ultimate would go with Zeromus

This has a big 'Kirby' feel to it, and I absolutely love it.

The silence before getting here, and then hearing this took me for a shock..oh my goodness..it’s great.

This was one of the first fights in a long time that made me feel hype. Endsinger was fun but...this was epic on so many levels. Managed to clear first time but that was through Covering our only healer on a sliver of health, then the two tanks being the last up at the last 2%...you could cut the tension with a knife. First time I saw "TANKS ADJUST!" In chat as well.

Had goosebumps the whole time and just flat out cried when phase 2 changes up the music. Nostalgia is a powerful attack indeed ❤
