It's sad and pisses me off that there are so many beautiful area's around FFXV that have SOOO MUCH story potential, and yet they were scrapped and are off bounds. :(
If only they would have waited before revealing the game. Until having something that was actually at least 50% playable, instead of it just being a concept, they could have made people wait a normal amount of time, and wouldn't have had to rush to release something clearly unfinished, I mean there is almost NOTHING of the 2013 FFXV trailer on the actual game, let alone Versus XIII, lmao.
Yeah, I only feel like this game was 33% percent complete, the foundation. Was down, but all of it is empty and super large. This would have been the longest ff game if it was 100 percent complete.
@@keavy2163 Yeah, with a world of that size, dividing the whole story into parts (or several DLCs or updates installed on top of the original game) isn't such a bad idea.
In all honesty I would have waited one more year just to see them add all of this other content they had to cut off. I had enough games to keep me preoccupied for the next year.

So the reason why Lunafreya jumped out the imperial battle ship without fear (in Kingsglaive) is because Tenebrae has insane heights. I wonder if she'll have dragon knight skills (given also that her weapon of choice is a trident) if she becomes playable in the next patches. This game disappoints me time to time.

I wish someone datamined the minimap and the normal map because there ARE differences in multiple spots... In the crown city access point in leide there's a bunch of differences (mainly with the road)
You do know that every Final Fantasy game looks extremley different from each other and some like VII and X are based on the real world right? Like Zanardkand and Midgar
alot of content supposedly got cut because 1) square enix was worried about offending the white knights of the internet. For example. Lady luna freya wa supposed to have story where someone was abusing her. 2) some content was cut due to time, money and the top suits at square wanted this game released. tenabra was supposed to be exploreable and have a dungeon and there was even a finished ice area with a giant shiva statue. The final area was supposed to explorable and not just a final mission. Dont blame tabitha. He was giving a broken down and tired development team because that luminous engine was shit.
Yeah so terrible that we didnt have yet ANOTHER story about a woman getting raped for ~character development~. They made a good decision, stop being a disgusting pig.
I would gladly pay over 200usd to be able to play a completed version of this. Tenebrae had always been such a beautiful concept of a country to me, and its such a damn shame SE had to cut corners...
Games of the 90s and early 00s were often cleverly designed to be efficient of space. There was very little 'fat'. Why do modern developers make all this terrain only for it never to be seen?

a, mostly, complete list of areas/content that was left out just to please the shareholders. 1. the Niflheim map/content a) Being able to buy the train for transport for unknown reasons b) exploring Tenebrae castle and surrounding area c) exploring cartanica desert d) zoldara henge (a supposed giant forest or jungle) e) the shiva dungeon f) the ocean separating niflheim from Lucis g) Niflheim's capital 2. the Altissia map/content a) the entirety of altissia city b) the Revettrice area (similar to vesperpool swamp area) c) a dungeon in the left top corner of the map (unknown content but possibly relating to odin) *the dark world would have been mainly for the kingdom of Lucis since it was supposed to heavily feature Chaos story content filtered out or reused in some way 1. the 13 kings storyline was added in during the end of development. a) the astrals were not the gods originally but rather the 13 kings were to be the gods who were using noctis as a chess piece to control some kind of outcome on the world (noctis eyes changing colors to red is a big indicator that this story line was changed later into development. 2. the ifrit battle was actually supposed to be a fight with chaos (chaos' throne still not taken out during the very beginning) 3. the crystal in Niflheim's possession was one of 2 others being the chaos crystal (Lucis had the light crystal) and the third one not known 4. story summons (astrals) were: titan, shiva, bahamut, ifrit, laviathan while the others including missing ones were: Ramuh, odin, alexander and phoenix 5. the Niflheim generals played a much bigger role in the story. major story arcs included: Loqi, Caligo and Verstael 6. Lunafreya's brother Ravus originally made up nearly %30 of the story explaining his hate for Nocits, which was overwritten. furthermore, Ravus was to be cut out of the story entirely but because of promotional material, he was redesigned to fit the current look of the game. All of this content was cut or changed at the restart of development. there is also much much more content not talked about like Insomnia being a city plunged in darkness all the time or the sky becoming red as the story goes on can be talked about but i shall leave it like this. FF15 in it's own right without the knowledge of what could have been makes it a decent entry into the franchise.
Hi, I'm trying this using my 1.0 save in the last version (because in the old version is impossible to reach the city, loading screen glitches) they removed the sea and I fall through the map, it seems impossible to move like you in the video.. Or maybe I'm moving in the wrong way?
If you are already in Niflheim. Falling and trying to reach solid ground then most likely you are moving, just extremely slowly. Set a marker. Keep the analogue stick in the one direction. And you will notice the distance decrease.
Indeed, and it seems to have being very late in development that these areas got cut, as they are way too detailed, they actually show on the minimap, and so on. So much wasted potential.
final fantasy madness This is already one of my favorite games, if they added all this cut stuff and they had the time etc. this game could've been one of the best games ever created. If not, the best game ever created. I would've loved to have all this in the final game. Even so, this is still an amazing game in my opinion. I wish Noctis didn't die at the end of the story or massive story additions through dlc could've happened. Although they could find a way to have him still alive through fan service like as if he had gotten revived in some sort of revival chamber like loz botw or if he had never truly died. Or maybe this all could've been what led him to waking up on that island after all that time. After all it is a bit odd after getting absorbed by that crystal he just woke up as a grown man on an island. That was the one part of the story that confused me the most. Maybe if square is nice enough they could be updating the whole story adding this stuff in like how they are changing chapter 13. Idk I am just fantasizing over here though.

raquelborn There is a new patch coming April 27th for font adjustments, More Limted Time Hunts, and a "Stable Mode" for PS4 Pro Users. There is no story though unfortunately.
It really sucks that players have to basically break this game inorder to get the full experience we will never have in the main game.... 10 years of development and this is what we got :(

Park at Lestallum. Go to Angelgard. Keep going east until you get the dungeon minimap. Go back to angelgard. Save there. Load that save. You will spawn in Niflheim. Go to cartanica. Use go back to car and Tenebrae will load.
Do it super quick, call chocobo, don't let the animation progress at all, not even the whistle, open camera, close camera, open map, go back to resting point, and give it a second, sometimes he doesn't spawn next to you, he takes a couple of seconds to get to you.
i just tried and , it doesn't work, the "camera" for picture option is grey and i can't click it no matter how fast i do it :/ Pretty sure they fixed it.
interasting, haven't tried since 1.08, it took them a long time to patch, it was discovered long ago, being playing with the armiger glitch, and the guy who uploaded how to do it deleted all his videos since people were using it to cheat on the leaderboards xD
oh yeah this is old, it only worked around 1.08 and below, your best bet currently would be the disc version without any updates (version 1.0) or even better the pc version, specially the debug build.
