This has to be the strongest and slimmest knot out there for fishing. I now use this knot for all fishing from Barramundi and mangrove jack in the estuaries to Spanish Mackerel, GT's and reef fishing because it is so strong and works for all leader to braid sizes.
I hope this brings you all some value.

It is a great knot there are so many different techniques of tie Have you tried to tie the rizzuto to finish the knot off

I agree. Looks nicer with the rizzuto. And a little faster also.

It is a good knot, I've found it very difficult to tie using thin braid & leader I personally think it's much better suited for thicker lines My go to is a double uni knot, but i'm only using 10 to 20 lb lines 👍👍

Hi Nath I'm using the fg knot now. Id like to know what knot do you use at your leader to lure? Cheers mate
@truckstinniestrebles
@truckstinniestrebles Год назад
Hey Matt, I use a uni knot or a loop knot depending on the lure and how I want it to swim.

Well! I have tried and Cheryl has tried we are getting in a right muddle. I think it all started to go wrong when I ask Cheryl to tie the knot around my pinkie🙄!! I can see why you call it an F-in G knot....anyway cut a long story short one thing led to another we have forgotten the knot😲. You must catch up with some of our comments when you have time Nath. Take care for now. The Wild Screechers!

Haha that’s a worry Roy! Keep the braid on your fingers only!
