FG reacts to Melly Mel after he questions his paper work during Mob James interview (EP41)

In this episode 41 of Streets and Scholars with Frank "FG" Thornton and Alex Alonso they discuss Melly Mel from Santana Blocc Crip and his recent interview with Mob James, where Melly Mel suggested that the FBI paperwork that F.G. produced in December 2021 was not authentic. Even though its all available on PACER database, He stated that he read all the paperwork and because he did not see a "51K" (its actually a 5K1) it was not authentic. FG was definitely offended by this exchange.

Alex was so anxious to try to attack Gangster Chronicles by going after the reputation of Mob James that he obviously didn't check out these claims by FG. Still no STV interviews from any of the so-called homies or co-defendant that FG claimed would back his story. Imo if someone says you know what I mean that many times then he's automatically lying. If another person without a personal agenda/vendetta like Alex had been sitting across from FG doing this interview that person would've looked at FG and said no I don't know what you mean without any credible evidence. I believe James told. His whole demeanor when responding to it screams guilty. In fact his excuse that if he was a rat that a whole bunch of other brothers would be locked up is tired and typical. Most rats are criminals and to imply that being an informant means that you would tell on every single possible person you we're involved in crimes with is a joke. That being said, it's sad that FG and Alex thought this was gonna change or mean a damn thing to anyone. Alex has a history of not holding people accountable for their criminal nature based on the environment and his obsession with something he isn't part of. Celebrating the killers and dealers and condemning clowns like James who still possess a real and valuable lesson about the streets always sat weird with me. James earned another 400 interviews off being labeled a snitch. This is just the way the internet works now and Alex was a big part in making this the preferred platform for discussing this shit ironically.

Do you really know what credible and professional mean.Try googling the 5 principles of Ethical Professional Journalism. 1) Truth and Accuracy. “Journalists cannot always guarantee 'truth' but getting the facts right is the cardinal principle of journalism." (Alex failed because no one can present claims/facts without evidence to back it) 2) Independence (Alex failed because he's trying to back his own claims on his own platform. That's like testifying in court and being the judge too at the same time) 3) Fairness and Impartiality (Alex failed. He personally blamed Mob James for being dropped from GC podcast and so he''s not impartial) 4) Humanity (Yeah you can give Frank the benefit of the doubt but don't forget he did get pay for his interview since interviews are being used to market and promote his and Alex very recently launched new podcast which both are being paid off of.) 5) Accountability (Alex failed. No one is there to question him because he's own his content again because it's his show. Imagined if Vlad claimed Alex is a snitch and the only person backing Vlad was a partner on Vlad's podcast.
