A lot of references of both versions of Beast IV/L is thrown into Koyanskaya of Dark's design, I wish to point out some of them that really stuck out to me .
I always thought he just jumped in the Vitch bandwagon like most people after the Tunguska Sanctuary event, everyone used to hate her and you wouldn't really see anyone say they liked her and often see people trash her character. Then the event came and suddenly lots of people started saying they've actually always liked her, lmao, same with this guy.
Chiwa Saito sure has a huge range. Hard to believe she used to be piegeoned-holed into voicing only lolis untill Bakemonogatari expanded her roles. She does do a dang cute loli so I suppose I can't really blame them.
By far probably the best Animations of the Foreigner Class aside from Abby, Yang and Clytie's NP Animation. I really was hoping that with that presentation, she would be a Foreigner with Damage capabilities that's enough to warrant her to be used outside Zerk battle like Clytie does. Not saying she's bad but she still need a little kick
I think the second skill should get a 20% charge and a turn lower cooldown. Light Koyan's second skill gives a 20 starbomb and is on a 6t cd compared to Dark's 7t, so I think giving it a targetable battery gives a bit of contrast, I guess.
Eh. She crits like a truck and her NP deals massive damage to about a third of the enemy roster while still being decent against everything else. Not to mention her DoT shenanigans and the fact that she doubles as a pretty good secondary support. I'd say she's perfectly fine as is. I wouldn't complain about an NP interlude of course, but that's just a given for every servant with an unupgraded NP.
@@nineflames2863 I was talking about Skill Upgrade. As a DPS She lacks Survivability, and her DoT is only great for the first Casting since that's the only time she can inflict the Amp Damage and not to mention if you want to use her as a Support, that S2's cooldown is expensive for a Skill that at best only effects herself, and her Damage isn't something you'd use to bring her outside Zerks unlike Clytie.
From what I understand, the hydra is a manifestation of a servant that allied with you for this event, but so far it doesn’t seem to do anything special.
@@zerefa Whenever I open her in game profile (and I'm reading it as I'm writing this), she's either named Beast IV (without letter), Lostbelt:Beast IV, or Beast IV:L. No slashes, those are for III and VI.

Yes, but Koyanskaya isn’t one of them. She is theoretically a “successor” to Beast IV. The only Beast VI fragment we know of is Beast VI/S - Whore of Babylon.
It signifies the division between a Beast, usually with one side's traits opposing the other (like how Kiara is about taking love from others without giving while Kama is about giving love to others while denying the love given to her). L/R is usually called Left/Right, but they also somtimes are called differently, like for Beast III: Beast III/L = Lapse (Kama) Beast III/R = Rapture (Kiara) For Koyanskaya, the L after her name means "Lostbelt". Her name also is written with a colon (:) instead of a slash (/), as in "Beast IV: Lost". Beast VI is also divided to L/R (we dunnl if their L/R has a different calling), but VI also divides further into S/G (Sodom and Gommorah). The Whore of Babylon is Beast VI/S.

@@knucklejoe26 "Lost" in this sense is an abbreviation of "Lostbelt". She's a Beast whose strength mostly come from the Lostbelts (the beasts she absorbed from the LBs). She was not a "wannabe" like Ashiya Douman, she was a Beast candidate (much like Merlin was when Solomon was still active). When she managed to get enough power, she turned into Lostbelt: Beast IV, or just Beast IV:L or Beast IV:Lost.
