Not rlly, as a single target 50 charger she is among one of the best, with never before seen refund numbers. The fact that she can counter class blast through a 500,000 HP avenger after the previous 7 wave of torment is testification of how unusually strong she is. If she was aoe i might agree but even then she would be the strongest buff remover in the game having access to a super spammable AOE buff removal every turn.
With double castoria BG, no MC buffs, kenshin refunds 66% on her np against a saber (with full OC hits: 3 for kenshin, 7 for astraea). Under the same conditions, astraea refunds 80%. Astraea has an 8 hitter vs kenshin's 4 hitter. However, Kenshin has a much higher np gain with better card hit counts, so her facecard refund is miles ahead of astraea. And obviously Kenshin has a 50% battery compared to astraeas 20%. So in minturn looping you will expect similar results, however in a longer fight with more facecarding, Kenshin has the clear advantage. (not to mention Kenshin's facecards hit way harder thanks to higher numbers and more consistent crits) They also both have different niches, so neither renders the other obselete regardless.@@blackxel6414
@@blackxel6414 A lot better. The only thing Astraea has better than Kagetora is that her NPs hit counts are double that of Kenshin. Steroids, Base Gain Numbers and Crit Sustains are in favor of Kenshin
Berserker's Best Arts ST: Castoria Ruler's Best Arts ST: Kagetora Wonder who's going to be the Arts ST for Avenger. That Class surprisingly still doesn't have an ST SSR representing Arts Might as well be since the SR of the 3 Class are quite top of the line in terms of DPS
@@id10terror15 yeah basically, also dantes is "man" attribute, so she gets special damage on her NP but not her cards, making black grail, a CE that concentrates the damage on her NP alone instead of honey lake that spreads its damage boost to her cards, a better choice
what would you recommend if i just had her at np1, without honey lake or black grail? i can cook with her, but how high can i take it? also what ost was this? it bumps
1st ost is zekken (used in okita alter’s np), the 2nd one (starts at 3:32) is the gudaguda 8 grand battle theme that’s also used in kenshin’s np, and then the 3rd one (starts at 9:57) is the japanese-style grand battle 1 (i think it’s used in the last battle of shimosa) ! :>
they are 2 very different servants. One is aoe, one is ST. Kama is a farmer, Uesugi is a boss killer or ST node destroyer. In terms of millage, you will see more benefit for using Kama (because 80% of the game is farming) but in terms of raw power if you want something very dead, Uesugi is the move.

debatable i think (im not really sure) but i dont think castoria can loop after NPAA (unless crits?) if she can then... Castoria has higher damage and very good defense Kagetora has higher defense and very good damage depending on the situation ofc Castoria has 3 different power mods (2 usable since threat to humanity is very small) that apply to her face cards Kagetora has 1 se mod on her np Castoria has spammable 1 hit solemn defense and 1t invul but she's a beserker Kagetora has a 2 hit 3turn evade and shes a ruler both are crit servants Kagetora has buff remove which is really good, especially when bosses buff themselves or get an evade/invul I think they both do the same thing, but do it a bit different Castoria being a berserker will do more dmg while Kagetora has more survival thanks for coming to my ted talk
