Some monsters are very unlikable design-wise as erotic material, but the story gets way better at the end and it becomes less about porn and more about story. Of course, it doesn't fit all tastes, but it's way better than most of the stuff that is around

Another difference between her and Jalter is that Jalter is meant to be this huge cannon that fires once and ends the battle. Best way to use Jalter is usually to get that one right turn where you can brave chain with NPBB and crit with all the team's buffs on her. Gorgon, on the other hand, is built for longer fights. She has more NP gain, guts, and her NP as charges the whole team. While her low HP does seem counter intuitive to that, she comes with Guts, unlike Jalter who has to eat away her own HP (that isn't to say she is stronger than Jalter, even on that aspect I'd still consider the 5* to just be generally better due to higher stats, I'm simply stating the difference in design). Still, while she is pretty flawed, I still consider her the second best Avenger, at least for the forseable future.
I agree on that, additionally even though Gorgon may not have the Boss Busting capabilites she is more usable then Jalter in most story/Event based fights since you often need to fight through a handful of Mobs. While the Avenger class may have only extra damage against Zerkers and Rulers one could also state the reverse that besides Berserker they dont have any weaknesses on NA for now.
GGWP I do agree with most of what you have to say, however, supports such as Hans, Merlin, Waver etc, are capable of taking away the problem Jalter has since their skills and np allow her to survive for a very long time while refueling her NP+attack in the meanwhile; the notable Buster crit damage meta is what derived out of this flexibility and survived until Skadi. Gorgon may be a viable aoe, but she can’t exactly refuel her np fast enough, nor does she do enough damage despite her Avenger class stats. I find it more plausible to state that Dantés can actually perform better then Gorgon in that role, since his NP does seem to do more damage, generate enough stars to crit and refuel NP while doing good damage (with the right support b/c of his terrible star gathering), and his skills are considerably tied to help with all of that. Well, opinions are to be respected, so I’ll just leave it here for people to judge.
@@hamiltonblewhisshot6494 Yes, as I said, I do think that even in Gorgon's main role Jalter will still outperform her, I was simply stating the difference in their design - while failing at it, Gorgon was made for longer battles, while Jalter was made as a one-shot beast. As for Dantès, one of his problems is being a quick servant on a Buster meta. And while he can be quite self-sufficient, Gorgon just has more team utility. A 15% NP charge isn't to be overlooked, it's close to Tamamo's, who is one of the top 5* supports. And she does have more NP gain than him: in stats, deck and passives. It is a close call, really, and I can see the arguments for him, but Memerlin just slight pushes the scales on her favor.
@@ggwp638BC Yes thats true until Skadi shows up, but in general he is still a bit better because he will spam his Np way more than her and has more solid base skills. The problem with Gorgon is the same as with her other alts her skills are very direct and not at all flexible leaving almost an entire reliance on stats and Np, where as other servants have that and good skills thats kind of why people dont see her as being that strong that being said she is spectacular for a 4 star servant.
Thicc snake is best snake. If I don't get her this year, I'm going to use my SR ticket to get her next year, because there's hardly any rateups for her, and screw the story gacha.
Dude, i was think of grailing her too to 90....but her curve (stats curve, not the tiddies one) get really bad at higher lvls. So i ask you... - How much HP & ATK she gets in 10 lvls???

Sealing designation enforcer gives avengers archer level star weight, so it helps a lot, especially if you use casters with her, cause they'll have 1/3rd her star weight.
If you have Seal Enforcer MLB then it puts around 232 star weight, which is around 30 higher than the rider class. I use it on Gorgon and she vacuums up all the stars. Nero Bride and/or Hans with 2030 and she'll crit everything to death. Her NP is still kind of a wet noodle but with a couple buffs she can still clear 3rd wave hands even at neutral damage.
Ive been rolling so hard for that CE, sadly I cannot get it, thankfully I DO have Rear Guard. So its not a total loss. But I still really want it...least I did get a prisma cosmos though; makes my boi Astolfo a lot more usable. Till I get Sealing Designation enforcer, then my NP2 gorgon will not b e as strong as she could be...sadly...she best snek...
in about a year and a half she will get a strengthening uqest which gives her a 2 turn for 4 attack atk buff which also boosts her buster star absorb by up 2 600%
I have quartz I could use for her, but I am saving for gramps. Mega snek has a pleasing character model, but I really love Quetz's cannibal teeth. Plus she looks like my BFF, so I gotta love her.
@@jimmycampos121 same happened to me as well. got np2 Quetz from 4 tix on the quetz solo rate up day. I had to pony up and buy some sq for Gorgon while hoping another quetz or np2 ishtar wouldn't spook me, but I got her as the second card in my first multi, so that was pretty sweet.
Since we're there, I'll invoke Merlin's Law and say "She works well with Merlin". He gives her stars, a 20% attack buff for 3/5 turns, can flood her with enough stars that weight doesn't matter and gives 50% buster and 100% crit damage on top of topping off her meager health. I applaud your restraint though.

I had a feeling she'd have a decent score given to her, and I'm happy you ACTUALLY mentioned her 1 Major Demerit: Her lack of being able to Crit because of her Class as an Avenger; other people I talk to completely ignore that problem saying she doesn't have any flaws and I'm just left thinking "What the heck? You can't just ignore the obvious guys, I mean seriously!!" I went to do a 10 Roll after finishing this Video to try and get her because she has so few Rate-Ups and I want to get every single Servant in the Game, and I was able to get her on the 10th card of the 10 Roll!!! I Love the irony!! Keep being Awesome, Sober Oni, and I'll be looking forward to more Spotlights, including a certain Spotlight I'm sure EVERYONE will keep asking you to do until you get to it. (I don't even need to say who it is, lol. ^_^)
He's overpowered. Don't use him if you want the game to be a challenge. Otherwise, just use him with whatever. It literally does not matter. He'd be good in a team of 1 stars.
Thanks for the servant spotlight. Sounds like she’s not as amazing as JAlter, but still solid, just reliant on the right supporters to make up for her weaknesses. Both rulers and avengers suffer from lack of class advantage in most situations, but I find them useful when jumping into a fight with a lot of opposing classes, especially if I don’t know what order they’ll come in.
Yesterday I dunno why, but I felt like I have to pull. I had only 2 tickets, so I used both to pull something. Got an Ibaraki and the Best Snek. I'm a happy Snek owner now. 10/10
I came running when I saw Gorgon boobs and I laughed when I saw that snake reveal and it makes sense because she is a snake well akin to a snake. Also Medusa's Mega Evolution lol!!! it's official Medusa is a Pokemon.
Gorgon NP = 10/15% Gauge refund on use, even as first in a chain Tamamo NP = 25-50% Gauge refund depending on OC level (will typically only get 25/31.25/37.5%) With Gorgon's [Mystic Eyes A++], and Tamamo's [Witchcraft EX] x2, an enemy will find it quite difficult to Noble Phantasm. With Double Tammy shenanigans, you can constantly reduce your team's cooldowns due to the fact that a Gorgon NP - Tamamo NP - Tamamo NP chain will refund ~84% Gauge to the entire party. If both Tamamo's were to have a Prisma Cosmos, they would end up starting the next turn with 92-94% Gauge, meaning just a few hits from an enemy would put them in range to NP again. Gorgon herself gains 3.8% Gauge/turn passively, which means ~88% Gauge at the end of the NP chain (and her Avenger passive means she gains more Gauge from being hit anyway). This means that if the enemy isn't stunned, one of the members of your party is going to end up with at least 100% Gauge by the end of the enemy's turn, which will put the party in NP range again for more CDR, another round of heals, and again setting up the NP spam shenanigans Gorgon may not have an Arts NP but she can probably function well as a Stall servant
I have Shuten and Nero Bride, I guess I'll build a team with Gorgon using those two. Nice, I waited so long for this video because I wanted to know to efficiently use Gorgon.
That intro was awesome Automatic heart. I think Gorgan has the potential to be great, just needs a team build around her. That future cue looks very promising. I’ll be rolling for that. Because that cover two things she really needs, the absorption and critical damage.
A few things to note: 1. Seal Designation Enforcer gets her weight up to 203 (261 when MLB). The average for riders is 200. So you're basically solving her biggest problem without having to rely on any other servant by simply equipping a fairly common CE. It also helps that Enforcer only increases attack; it caps out at 1500 bonus at lvl 80, which is pretty significant and more than makes up for the lack of other CE bonuses. 2. If you don't have Enforcer or want to use a different CE on Gorgon, Brynhild is an excellent choice to support her. Even prior to her skill rank up Hero's Sidekick has the same weight increase as a non-MLB Enforcer CE and Gorgon, being extremely squishy, would definitely appreciate the heal. Bryn's crit down and stargen up buffs as well as her being a pretty decent star generator herself definitely help Gorgon out as well. Post rank up Bryn will basically make sure that no one other than Gorgon gets any stars, and slap an additional 40% crit boost on top of that. Really good stuff. 3. If you don't have Bryn (or a friend with a Bryn), good things come to those who wait. The new Christmas welfare that was recently released in JP is another extremely good support for Gorgon. Ruler Quetz's weight up buff only lasts for one turn and she doesn't boost Gorgon's survivability, but she makes up for that with an A-ranked Charisma and a ridiculous amount of star generation for a non-assassin. Bryn is probably still a better choice but Quetz is free. Now to wait two years for her to come out... 4. Gorgon is one of those servants that work really well with Merlin. Sure, he's OP in pretty much any team, but Gorgon makes excellent use of everything he has to offer. Her 50% atk steroid means she greatly appreciates the buster buff, his invincible and heal are really useful to her since she's so squishy, and his ability as a star generator combined with his low weight make him an excellent choice on that front as well. Merlin's "niche" is buster crit support, and Gorgon just so happens to fall neatly into that role. You could even argue that she scales better with him than JAlter, considering that JAlter has a 50% buster up herself, which means diminishing returns when you combine it with Hero Creation. I got the Gorgon on my second account to 100. She is now sitting at a ridiculous 13,953 attack (599 higher than her HP lol) and has become my go to party member for pretty much everything thus far, including both farming and more challenging content. No regrets :D

Hey man, I was wondering if there was a suggestion I could make to your Spotlights. One thing I recently found myself working through is what are good CEs to put on a Servant for a Support List when Events aren't going on (since you'd obviously put Event CEs on them if there was one). I was wondering if you've considered adding a section where you go into "If you want to put this Servant on your Support List, here are some good CE recommendations" or even just adding them to your CE recommendations section.

I disagree with some of the reasoning but I do think that the B- is correct. Talk of the Hot Sands CE(giving her a star weight between archer and rider) and double Merlin is how she works for single target. (even though her NP is AoE) And without a charge/class advantage she isn't really useful for farming outside of dailies/berserkers. She could have been useful if she gave 20% charge with her np to the whole party so you could use KScopes or 50% CE + 30% charge or the other 2 servants, but 15% is awkward in that regard. Will still grail to 100, good snek.
This is my personal bias since I play NA and the results I observed. I played around with Gorgon a bit and for me my best results would be to not go for Star Gen, maybe because I dont really have a good team that caters to that. LUL My best results is to use her as an NP spammer and I played around with Prisma Cosmos, Magical Sapphire (miyu CE) and Holy Night of Reading. Holy Night reading had the best Dmg per NP charge, Prisma had the best consistency on NP gain whereas Sapphire was the Fastest to reach the NP with a slower recharge as a consequence. For support the usual suspects, Waver, Merlin but Helena with her NP charge and Buff to all command cards is also interesting.
Awesome video and thanks now I know what I need to do with her luckily I have most of those servants and ces. I think I’ll probably do buster damage for her so it will be a lot quicker to farm exp cards or maybe I’ll test her out on both to find out which one I like. Looking forward to your next servant spotlight.
The 3 star ce of the three snake sisters that gives star absorption and crit damage is also very good if limit broken... I got gorgon np3 so I will figure out a nice team comp for her... Thanks for your reviews as always very complete xD
My Gorgon is 10/10/10, Bond 10 and level 100, nearly reaching 16k ATK. She recently did 1M damage (which I uploaded onto my channel fufufu) and like, I just love her so much?????? She’s awesome. Glad she came NP2. (I’ve had her since Septem. Ishtar download banner gave me her in 1 ticket.)
The star weight will become better after her Rank up quest which changes Monstrous Strength with Giant Monster Trampling, the atack+ at lvl 10 will remain the same at 50% but there will be a buster card star gathering bonus of 600% at lvl 10
The amount of damage Gorgon does when she crits is too glourious for words! One battle I gave her Talk of the Hot Sands, two star generators one that could protect her and one that can protect themselves to continue to feed her stars and along with her Crit atk up skill. I kid you not I did a quick, buster and arts brave chain and I got 150,000+ damage.
Man, as a newer player I can't overstate how useful Gorgon's been on my own teams since randomly getting her a few months ago. Typically I have her in slot 6 as my uh-oh card, and boy has she saved my ass more times than I can count, between her high damage, few class weaknesses and the fact her NP takes no time at all for me to charge (and I got my first Kaleidoscope only a few days ago). I'm aware of her shortcomings, and I'm sure those will start biting me as soon as I get to Camelot and beyond, but at this point I'm ready to work with them and make her the terrifying snake waifu she was always meant to be.
TLDR: Another Medusa variant who has the Stun, temp Attack buff and area NP but doesnt have her 3 star's charge, any consistent damage and is probably overshadowed by Berserkers w/ easier area NP
For someone that really likes her and wants her on the team without star producers if you grail her give her fous and only a couple of goldens plus her class attack modifier she leaves a lot of 5 stars in the dust, the thing you should look more at would be health which i recommend using volumen hydrargyrum that boosts survavility by giving more hp 3 hits invincibility and a low damage plus of 200 althought if LB it gives 500 so that plus her normal damage makes class advantage not that important
You know its kind of ironic, every Avenger so far has something to do with Crits even though they all naturally have abyssmal star weight. Plus they all have the oblivion correction passive which increases crit damage. Angra lowers an enemy's crit chance, Dantes generates stars and self cleanses, Jalter sucks up the stars and increase her crit damage, Gorgon increase her crit damage, and the shinjuku avenger increases star absorbstion.
took her for my free 4* and am not disappointed. mainly her party wide np gen works wonders together with parvati for a 25% party np gain. its extremely usefull for those that dont have many starting charge ce´s or get unlucky with card distributions a lot. together with parvatis 3rd skill those 2 can give a single servant a 45% np charge just 5% short of wavers full kit.
I feel like her star absorption can be worked around so long as you bring a good star gen or give her seal enforcer, sadly you need to build a team around her for her to be as effective as possible while actually contributing to the team, so ill probably wait for sr ticket to get her
Gorgon (Hot Sands)+ Merlin (2030) = NP Spamming crit waifu. Also, I find her demonic mutation to be better than monstrous strength. Gorgon is capable of getting multiple brave chain turns in a row (especially if she crits with arts cards), which results in a lot of damage. So that 3 turn crit amp can really pack a punch, and is more reliable (and lower cooldown) than her monstrous strength. Her crits are her (ironically) most reliable source of damage. Gorgon is like, the epitome of "jack of all trades" damage dealer. She can spam AOE NP against groups of enemies, she can single target crit individual targets with a brave buster chain, she even has an extremely useful stun. She just isn't as good at any of it as a servant specialized for the occasion. This means she's best as a point DPS with the "true dedicated damage dealer" as your 4th slot for when your supports inevitably can't prevent her from dying. This is why she's worth grailing to 100 though. A maxed Gorgon can reliably be used in all content without breaking the bank by her team cost. She can eat through waves of weaker enemies, and soften up the big bad boss enemies, to allow someone else to clean up. (My Gorgon ends up beating most content for me anyway.)
From my personal experience since Rulers are fairly rare I actually like to use Gorgon for some Berserker busting. Boasting the highest base atk stat of all 4 star servants in the game with a 1.1x damage modifier to boot she is able to absolutely nuke berserker enemies. Prior to the introduction of the Foreigner class I would highly recommend using Gorgon for farming Berserker nodes during events. Outside of that use case, she can also be combined with other servants with a high chance stun skill as well as the battle suit mystic code to stun lock bosses for several turns in a row, which can stall for time for other skills to come off cool down as well as building NP.

I love using her with double Waver since they can NP spam and stack curses almost every turn to basically cook everyone to death, that and her crits are just plain disgusting. I've already grailed her up to lvl.90 while my Jalter is still sitting at lvl.55 >.>
I don't know what my luck is with female Avengers is? I had five tickets left, so I decided to roll with them. 1st card- wrong evasive lancer (proto-Cu) 2nd card- Iron Will 3rd card- wrong nee-san (Boudica) 4th card- the new 3 star craft essence 5th card- gold sparks into Avenger I don't know how I got her but I'm glad I did. She'll be great next to Jalter once I get her trained up.
Stats are pretty great with Avenger multiplier is amazing. A simple self ATK buff, a Guts with crits buff, and a stun. I expected more than a simple set like this. An AoE NP with a group battery and a pretty nice DoT is very welcomed on a second wave of a farming session. I would roll for her since my only avenger is Trasha Mainyu
Pulled her twice trying to get Quetz, who came home a week later. While I agree with everything you said (especially about her damage potential being hindered due to Class) I found that she is surprisingly easy to span her NP with. Great review as usual! She might be a B- in gameplay, but she'll always be S in my heart ❤🐍❤

I've wanted to summon her because of waifu (and "plot") reasons, but decided not to because King Hassan is coming (and he reaally looks like a character from Dark Souls, which is pretty cool!). Then I've seen your video and choose to summon her. She quickly decided to come home (I didn't need to spend too many quartz on her - she really wanted to be summoned). Thank you again for your dedication to her, and providing guidance for me! Like somebody said before me: "She is best snek, protecc her in all her forms."
i do agree with B- But A- for waifu material... also that guts is a bit low.... (even cu has 4000 max level) and finally nero bride so that's mean yes i can use my favorite servant on her (i want to use jack and 2030) but the waver and his apprentice CE works too...
I already run heavy support crit servants like berserker lancelot, at this point hans and mozart/shakespear with two 2030's is pretty much a team staple. Now if only gorgon would ANSWER MY CALL
Lvl 100 Gorgon, 10/7/7, NP2. Also have Jalter lvl 90. Gorgon excels in things Jalter doesn't, and vice versa. They play differently but have very similar roles: to deal ridiculous amounts of damage. Both need support to do their jobs effectively, but that's pretty much all Avengers. Gorgon's great. If you have the support, she can get you through just about anything.
i just got her for my free 4 star i already had almost all the 4 stars on the list that i care for if i didnt pick her i woulda gone with Medea Lily or Lancelot saber
If you have to fight multiple classes of enemies at once (including rulers) a Gorgon with double Waver, and/or Merlin is actually pretty nice. Especially with Fragment of 2030.
I supose that now with her streght quest that makes her suck crit star for her busters, she make depend less on CE and Suports for that, and can make far better use of her Crit potencial, which was one of her major flaws. Maybe with that she might get a B+ instead of a B- ? :v
A general question about future gameplay. Currently aoe np's are only good for farming but i'm curious when challenge quests get harder that have multiple enemies with break bars is aoe np's better to take these down or is single target np's still the way to go to beat them. Been looking at the appmedia tier list and is see Dantes, Lancelot and mainly quick aoe servants dominating the ranks while former strong buster servants like Musashi & Jalter fall down the ranks. I know Skadi makes quick aoe np's that much better but in your experience are you using more aoe np's or still sticking with strong single target np's. Just wanna plan ahead when global gets to that point, makes me think more about who to pull on in the future.
Appmedia isn't an absolute guide and only compiles its tier list based on what has been observed. For example for ages it didn't notice that Mordred swimsuit was extremely good in the right set up. However it isn't entirely wrong either and there is good reason why Dantes, Lancelot and Skadi are at the top. If you want servants that are good at any point in FGO I would suggest Waver,Merlin, Jeanne, Jack, Chu alter, swimsuit Artoria, Karna, Gilgamesh and Tamamo. While their ranks go up and down a little they have constantly been good. For future servants I would pick King Hassan over Musashi for further reference look at youtuber Wodan to see why. Darth Saber is a very good future investment but garbage at first, Dantes another good future investment. Meltilith over Kiara in the CCC banner while Kiara has gotten a lot better Meltilith is better over all. As for summer Swimsuit Nero is a must have and probably swimsuit Frankenstein as Swimsuit Raikou gets replaced the following year by Ibaraki. The others aren't that great. Also when picking foreigners choose Houksai over Abigail and Ereshkigal is a great lancer. The next year mainly go for Achilles, Skadi, Swimsuit BB and the emperor. If you get all of the suggested ones here just roll for fun after that.
Yeah, there's a lot of challenge quests with multiple enemies now, so, yeah AoE servants are having quite a good time. Not saying that now AoE is the meta, it's more like now you need to be prepared with both. my 10/10/10 lvl100 Hokusai is loving the attention
@@lexymordio1928 I get that appmedia isn't perfect but it is a descent guideline. However my question was in JP is aoe np's used more often or is single target still the go to for hard content. I'm getting multiple answers that i should focus on servants with strong aoe in the future while single target isn't as important as much. Especially with Skadi present quick aoe np's i've seen in alot of challenge quests cause the ability to break multiple bars of health at the same time.
@@izumolee6714 If you want to play it safe as someone who doesn't plan on spending much money that is good advice. I did go into more detail in my long message who are considered the best to get overall. Single targets always serve a purpose though for example in latest lost belt one of the hardest fights was a single boss with multiple life bars and an AoE NP wouldn't cut it for them because if you take too long you will die.
started on jp server today, for some mythical reasons, I got Shutten, took Gorgon with the SR ticket and Nightingale with the SSR thing ( idk why there is a free SSR but I'm okay with it ) then I came here and realised I did kinda good
I was very tempted to roll on the Babylonia snek banner but gameplay wise I have Jalter so I don't need her and I also must save for higher priority waifus. I'll get her a nice tank with a heat rock someday, but not today.
After spending hundreds of quartz to get Jalter only to be denied both times, I saved up enough free quartz to get her on a 10x roll along with Lancer Vlad and Nightingale.
The recent Pārvatī banner’s 5* CE, Beyond the Wish, is essentially the perfect fix for Gorgon until she gets her improvement in NA by boosting her star absorb and atk or Buster.
talk of the hot sands solve most of hers an dantes problems, hence why i will be forced to choose that CE as my free one in the upcoming chaldea boys (wish i could get the detective dantes one just for the art) still, i wish she could get an strenghthening for her third skill, change to something like: mystic eyes of the gorgon/of petrification EX: adda defense down on the stun (20-30% would do) and maybe boost her buster performance by 20% fixed for 3 turns, that would greatly optimize her as a more vesatile berserker (which is kinda like what avengers are meant to be). i got a friend who like to go on discord with me and talk about new stuff on the game, thats why i like to brainstorm with stuff when i see those review videos and the like, its kinda fun
