Ill admit for slightly slower play this team is pretty nuts, aoko just helps her other 2 supports get back their powerful NPs, and castoria + gogh combo allows her to both do big damage with her aoe buster crits as well as her NP.
This clear focused on only using Aoko as the dps, but maybe it would be better to dps abit with van gogh too? Due to the magic bullet mechanic aoko doesn't lose that much damage even if she doesn't attack every turn, or if she takes longer turns to NP, due to her passive giving her stacks anyways. Attacking with van gogh would give faster van gogh NPs to help ramp up the everything that her NP offers
Yeah, especially because if you're using Aoko's Extra attack, having as many Magic Bullet stacks as possible is better so she can convert it to Attack buffs. 8 stacks of Magic Bullets will give Aoko's Extra attack the max cap of 500% Atk up. A Mighty Brave Chain or Triple Arts Brave Chain from Aoko self buffs can let her deal 100k damage to each enemy with her Extra Attack using 8 Magic Bullet stacks
@@diogofernandes4973 Yes, but Attack buff caps at 500%(base 100% + 400% buff), so Aoko can already max cap this value with only 8 stacks of Magic Bullets. Anything beyond that won't increase the damage in the calculation

This may sound biased (because I really like Mahoyo), but I really like this comp tbh. Maybe it is not the optimal way to play, but I like how sometimes the try to put out some new ideas (like Andromeda, even if it was an unsuccessful try) for the game. I don't care if it is longer, if I can do battles in different (and especially fun) ways, I'm going to welcome any servant (and besides, I would use Aoko a lot, so it would be a nice excuse to use more Van Gogh).
Yeah. I know that feeling. I'm also like that. I keep spamming the Morgan braindead team nowadays, but it's because I love Morgan and I want to level up her bond ASAP. But there are still times when I use other comp to bring more fresh air. Like Kingprotea stall, Arts loop, Super Orion / Herc solo, etc.
@morsayxd Don't get me wrong, I like her and the way she plays. Unfortunately, she has some problems that hold her back a little bit imo. I really hope we get more characters like her, so Lasengle may do more content taking her into account.

I was doing this but with S.Merlin instead of Ghogie since i dont have her on JP. But using gogh its pretty nice for her since you can stack aoko's buff instead of spending them constantly with her cards, really good team!
I want to get Aoko for van gogh and do a terror team arts, but i ll user proto merlin, my goal is to spam as much van gogh nps as possible and use 1 or 2 Aoko super charged facecards
so, i have not seen this in you myth busters video, but i am still curios. Aoko transformation doesn't break summer BB third skill, so can we make post transformation Aoko have two buster cards instead of one with summer BB?

Depends on if the enemy is debuff/terror immune. If you focus on getting off more NPs with Van Gogh, the chance every turn for an enemy to become stunned gets very high (each stack gives a 60% chance of activating). This also increases crit damage substantially for her and Aoko. You don't really need to NP with Aoko that often outside of NP chains for more Overcharge for Castoria's NP. Just make sure to get a Buster crit with Aoko when it comes up, and you'll do a ton of damage to the entire enemy line.
dont forget there is no breakbar effect, and no debuff from enemy also, no np from enemy, so .....please just try this team in well chine lb recolection when they come....
I think this team is pretty cool, but I prefer the madness that is Van gogh + Summer BB + Koyanskaya (Douman switch). You almost never run out of stars and deal major crits and np damage with bb and have the ability to lock cards which generates more stars each turn when using the skill.
I don't understand the logic of making her have AOE Buster Cards, but making her only have one Buster Card in her DPS form, that kind of makes the gimmick irrelevant.
It's a desperate attempt to balance Aoko. She can do so freaking much, and because of that they need to find ways to balance her, even if just a little
The real question is it better than arts looping an equivalent DPS. How does Summer Melusine/Spishtar/Marie Alter/etc. with double Castoria or Castoria+Proto merlin do in comparison.
A single core Arts AoE comp will deal more damage per NP while their buffs are active, but you'll have the downtime eventually if they can't finish the fight in 3 turns. This setup brings steadier damage output as between NP charges from Aoko and Castoria Gogh can maintain her NP buff, Castoria can also have her NP ready for protection and debuff cleanse when you need it, and Aoko can either use her NP for burst damage or Skill 3 to heal the party + CD reduction. The setup essentially have little to no downtime and safe to play while dealing respectable amount of damage
