[FGO] Traum Gameplay (Part 17) FINALE | Section 22 [Fate/Grand Order] 

My personal thoughts on Traum is that they somehow manage to keep a balance on the comedy with the serious tone of the story. The situation in Traum was bleak and depressing, the setting of the story is about realistic tactical sieges between armies, seeing heroes rebelling against humanity, Don Quixote feeling guilty and depressed from fleeing the Atlantis Lostbelt, Sancho willing to make the tough calls and prioritizing Don Quixote's safety even if it means some sort of betrayal, Kriemhild resenting and seeking her revenge against Siegfried, Pope Johanna losing Konstantinos, Salome being conflicted by her nature, even our MC, Fujimaru, barely escaping from the Revenge Realm, absolutely bleeding and passing out twice. And there's the Paladins of Charlamagne from the Righteous Realm, being a ball of sunshine and hijinks. I always expected that the Paladins were just going to be silly and lighten up a certain situation with the story being bleak and all. But the writers somehow manage to fit in all the jokes the paladins made fit with the story by making the paladins KNOW when it is to be silly and joke around and when to be serious. Because I've seen many animes/mangas/stories that just put in a joke for the sake of putting a joke in the story without paying attention to the current situation of the characters and circumstances. But Traum does this really well and each funny moment doesn't overstay it's welcome and the story continues without feeling out of place.

31:12 Quod Erat Demonstrandum means "that which was to be demonstrated", though in context the meaning is closer to "which was to be proven". It's a phrase that is usually put at the end of mathematical and philosophical proofs to mark that the proof is complete, that we arrived at something we initially sought to prove. And it's also what popped up at the end of Shinjuku chapter in FGO. So here we also see "Quod Erat Demonstrandum", before it shifts into "Ex Falso Quodlibet". "Ex Falso [Sequitur] Quodlibet" is a Latin phrase that means "from a falsehood, anything [follows]". It's also known as "principle of explosion", which proposes that if a paradoxical statement or contradictory set of statements is accepted as true, then absolutely anything can be proven. I'm not exactly sure to what specifically it refers in here. Though all the David Bluebook flashbacks, as well as other scenes pertaining to the events leading to Bleaching of the Earth, if you put them all together, paint two mutually exclusive pictures of how it all went down. Though given how fan-theories propose the contradiction to be resolved, I'm not sure "Ex Falso Quodlibet" fits for it.

This wouldn't be a Musashi situation with Holmes. Musashi essentially deleted herself but Holmes just died, it would still be possible to summon a Holmes servant it just wouldn't be the Chaldea Holmes. Like Da Vinci (adult version), she got killed during the prologue but is still a servant in the Throne of Heroes. And I also believe he'll come back sooner or later but probably not as a Ruler. I don't remember who said that our Holmes had something mixed in him. So I assume that the new Holmes would be the "real" Holmes, not that ours wasn't real, I just mean that it would be a Holmes with no ties to the Alien God.
