@@yolohip8395 It is in my opinion, me and my brother have two grande punto 1.3 mjet 90hp, mine is a 2009 with 77k km, I bought it from a excellent owner this year and it's serving me absolutely well after serving them without never a problem. My brother has the same car but he bought it in 2014 and it served him well, lately it brought him and his family through Spain and France two times because he's a an engineer working in UK and couldn't find a fly to bring them home. In all his years and thousands of km he just had to change the starter engine once. The mjet is a reliable engine and the car is reliable all around, don't stress the plastics too much because you may end up breaking them in my opinion. It's excellent for its price, if you don't want to spend a lot of money and want a reliable and comfortable car I would suggest it for you

@@yolohip8395 One last thing, I have the automatic/sequential trasmission, if you buy it too I suggest that you never use the sequential option, just leave it in automatic and let it do the work. They explained to me that the trasmission is prone to break if you use the sequential option too much

@@yolohip8395 Also, if you are in doubt between 1.3 mjet 75hp or 90 hp, the 75hp is faster to peak up speed and rpm so it might be more comfortable in urban environments, the 90hp is faster all around but at higher rpm. Personally I prefer the 90hp cause when the drive torque awakes you have a beautiful thrust

@David Casas I have the 1.2 engine and it has the same "growl" - and we all know Fiat engines are built to be driven hard, they thrive in the high revs 😁

@@matthewsmith2787 depends by what style of driving you got, also if you got the CNG engine you can do 300km whit less than 15 euros

Last model is just punto again, punto evo is I belive(dont hold my word) 2009-2011) and its just facelift.

i have 1.3 multijet 16v euro 5 engine. its a perfect engine. and fully stock 200k km and still like the first day .

I have rare 5 door 1.9 mjet version with almost full spec equipment. It has upgraded intercooler, and remap, aprox. 160 hp. It looks like it's 1.2 or 1.4, but it's real sleeper.

@@ron999 have practically the same car without the upgrades (130hp) I bet with a bigger turbo it'd solve the engine being so slow around 1k to 2k-ish rpm. Although I still prefer the 1.3 mjet engine because it's so cheap to run, making the mk2.5 punto the perfect b-road car Does around 4.5l/100km but can push it down to less than 4l if well cruised).

​@@johnwick-dw9dm Same. Just crossed over 315k a week ago ^_^ You can definitely feel that engine is starting to lose compression tho, but still feels ok for the next 100k.

Daniele di Forenza 1.3 mj is legendary engine. In my country, they use taxi and over 500k..

Silnik niewileki to i przełożenia krótkie. Zresztą to auto miejskie raczej. Jeżdziłem i30 z silnikiem 1.4 tylko tam był mocniejszy bo coś ze 100 koni to też skrzynia bardzo krótka, przy 100km/h ponad 3tyś obrotów a auto wieksze i mocniejsze.

i30 1.4 ma dłuższe przełożenia, przy 3000 obrotów na ostatnim biegu jedzie 105km/h. Głupie Aygo z litrowym bździłkiem ma dłuższy ostatni bieg.

@@sic22l 105 na 5 biegu przy 3000rpm jechał mój getz 1.1 a i30 miało ponad 3000 przy stówce. Wiem bo jechałem a sprzęgło nie ślizgało. Być może wychodziły różne wersje skrzyń biegów.

Bo jak sam napisałeś - to nie miało być szybkie auto (z tym silnikiem). 1.4 8V jest dobry tylko do miasta. Żona ma takiego tylko z 1.4 16V (95KM) i z 6-biegową skrzynią - to zupełnie inne auto. Przy 140km/h jest jakieś 3700-3800obr/min na 6-tym biegu i spokojnie można z taką prędkością latać autostradami. A i w mieście całkiem nieźle sobie ten silnik radzi, prosty, bezawaryjny, bez turbo. Stare, dobre fiatowskie 1.4 FIRE. A w wersji Sport (nakładki na progi, lotka, koła 17-ki) i w kolorze Blu Magnetico powoduje, że i dziś niejeden się ogląda na mieście za tym samochodem.

Yes they are but no so much...in some cases this Car is oversized for this tiny 1.2/1.4 with no turbo, i prefer the 1.3 mjt turbo diesel version with 90 HP 200 nm and it has Good autonomy

That cheap? I just bought one for 3250€ . Only 88k and new belt, pump and tires but still €800.-?? Pity the UK has the steering wheel on the wrong side otherwise Id start import business

The fuel consumption of the twinair engine is very terible.

I have one too. I think 6.2l/100km is pretty good for the size of the car and I drive 50-50 highway and city.

@@janmetdekorteachternaam3673 it has eletronic power stering and it is very delicate. First two years 2005 and 2006 more problems, later not so much. Expencive repair. I had problems with that on my2006 grande. Power stering just stop working in while driveing. I was conecting on main road and wheel did not returned by it self, and i almost ended in oposite trac. Dangerous situation. Biggest problem is that just stops work, and you cant predict when
