Eravamo i re dell'automobilismo a livello mondiale, tutti ci dovevano solo imitare, nulla era lasciato al caso, avevo pochissimi anni all'epoca ma già bambino che giocavo con le macchinine andai con i miei a vedere il porte aperte Fiat di questo modello, che ricordi, praticamente eravamo anni avanti addirittura lo start e stop quello oggi tanto pubblicizzato . Che berlina la Regata, una Fiat indimenticabile anni 80.

Mi chiedo come abbia fatto a innamorarmi della Regata all'età di 8 anni: la linea era già datata per il 1984. Infatti lo capirono anche in fiat e dopo soli 2 anni presentarono il pesante restyling chiamato "II Atto" che stravolgeva di parecchio la linea d'origine (e per fortuna). Comunque la tanto vituperata Duna sfoggiava un design e un aerodinamica molto più avanzati solo 3 anni dopo la Regata. Ma rispetto alla Regata II Atto appariva scrausa. E lo era. Naturalmente IMHO e con rispetto parlando 👌
Se per te il restyling del 1986 stravolgeva di parecchio la linea di origine, allora hai sbagliato auto. E la linea datata non era certamente la sua, anzi era perfettamente integrata negli anni '80.
Sei stato fortunato, neanche oggi. Se una macchina (qualsiasi) fa 15 al litro è molto parsimoniosa. I dati forniti dalle case sono al banco, nella guida di tutti i giorni è tutta un'altra cosa.

Sorry but I don't agree at all.... My father owned two different series of 131 and then a Regata and I can assure you that Regatta was WAY cooler than 131, even if they shared almost the same layout. The only deep structural difference between them was that 131 had longitudinal engine and rear traction while Regata had transversal engine and front traction, but even this was an improvement in driving safety given the fact that 131 had rear beam axle and leaf spring suspension. Beside of that, Regata's interiors were a HUGE leap forward from 131 ones... And exterior design both of sedan and station wagon (named "weekend") were at pace with the style of the times with angulated lines, new stylish hubcaps, chrome inserts on bumpers....
