Wow, it's a little dream, I'm in favor of building a trike with floats to cross my country Colombia, it has large lakes and rivers, I would make stops from lake to lake, loading fuel when required, I would finally reach the sea 1000 kilometers from here, There I would take a different route back, through other landscapes, what a good job! congratulations
Typically I would probably be in Florida, but for now I'm stuck in Canada. If you're serious about getting training or getting an aircraft for yourself send me an email to bfasan at Gmail and I'll try and help you out
Didn't you watch the video? Ground effect only works within about half your wingspan from the ground.. and I've flown it up to about 10000 ft, so it flys great...
That's an awesome rig and great video! Thank you for sharing. What components are you using, did you get it as a kit? Do you find it difficult to see over the bow when you are airborne?
It can be a little tricky to see directly in front of you while airborne.. I actually put a little bit of padding underneath pilot seat to help sit taller. And as for the rest of your questions may be best to email me bfasan at g mail. I can maybe help you find an existing aircraft or whatever your looking for.
@@jasongriffith571I am an instructor, however due to personal circumstances I'm stuck in Canada for the time being, but send me an email and I will give you some other instructors phone numbers
... Ummm, what? I didn't leave my seat? And if a skydiver "allegedly" were to jump out, then yeah it would make sense to turn the engine off temporarily...
IF YOU WANNA SEE A REAL ENGINE FAILURE MID-FLIGHT, YOU'LL FIND A COUPLE OF THOSE ON MY OLDER VIDEOS. (Sorry for all caps. I don't wanna re type all this though)
@@brandonfasan I live in modesto California. That is crazy high. My uncle lives on a lake and there is a bigger lake near his house, a waterfall the other way and river. I'm just looking at the possibilities of of jumping lakes, waterfalls, lol. I'd end up dead in one of those. They run about $21k?
@@PopeyeModesto typically around there for used.. to bad you didn't msg me about this time last year I was in Cali with my FIB.. and I'm an instructor so I coulda helped you get into flying..
We used a drone, filming from other PPG pilots, and fancy 360 cameras. This video is the fancy insta360 cameras mounted to the flying boat. Specifically insta360 One RS and insta360 X3
@brandonfasan Awesome camera action and video boss ! You should do a video on your set up filming your flight ? People's want to know how it's done ? Your set up ? The cost of these drone and how it work ? THANK YOU
