I'm digging that Finland is becoming a basketball country. The enthusiasm they have will lead to great leaps and bounds for Finnish basketball. Love their energy! Beware, they are a small country, but look what they have done with hockey!
Well i don't really believe in that. Country with only about 5 million people can't really be good in two totally different sports, and we're not even that interested in basketball yet anyways. Most of finnish players are not even finnish. but we will se as basketball is getting more popular here. Only sports we can handle here is hockey and floorball, and of course since we're europian we play football (soccer for some) a lot but havent really succeded.

+Jim James Well might be doing a bit better in basketball but were still much better in hockey and hockey is much bigger here. Also football (soccer) is now becoming bigger here even though were not good at it.

I wish the NBA was truly international, as in they had teams who were based in other countries outside of North America (Europe, Asia, Africa, Austrailasia, Central & South America, etc.). It could seriously become the most international sport if it did so.
Agree. I always felt it was one of the best usa teams since the first and second dream teams. Kyrie, prime splash brothers, Anthony Davis, Harden, healthy Cousins...etc this was a legendary team USA. No one was touching this team.

ofcourse they're booing for the opponent and cheering for their own country. they're not hating them, just loving their own. that's just european sport culture, in usa there is no sport culture, so it can be weird for americans, if fans open their mouth otherwise than for eating...
+Peter Casola we have the most summer olympic medals per citizen, also the most gold medals per citizen, we have only 5,4 million people in finland, in usa there's over 320 million people, which is almost 60 times more :)

everyone in our team was trash , and still is haha, i mean just take your shots or something , there was like million chances to shoot behind the screens for example but no , instead of that our guards cant do anything , cant even pass the ball... and omg our bigs , möttölä, muurinen , lee fore example ............. dont get me started , huff is also probably the most boring and overrated player in the history of basketball
