But how do I get my 288 micro ducts into it? If I gotta splice anyway I'll just move the splitters into the splice cases then what would this be used for?
@@webbracinglabs I don't understand what your asking. Mechanical plugs are frequently faulty. Fusion splices just work, much less loss too. You got pigtails coming out of FDH where do they connect to? You gotta splice em into your drops regardless. Guess you could do fancy all weather rated plugs but that's just more loss and more future problem areas. A good clean splice with a OTDR verification, nothing beats that. I'd rather do it once right than go back and clean connectors counsels times on shit that works, but only when the temperature is right and semi trucks don't vibrate the ground.
