Fibre-metal pipeline hood head gear swap (long) 

Works perfect! Watched this video and I did it myself in about 20 minutes. My FM Tiger hood is so much more comfortable and a lot more adjustment options. Thanks for the video and the help.

I always trim down the tabs on the lift front to keep from getting caught on projections. Will be getting the miller headgear as the fiber metal headgear is a weakpoint on the helmet. Always carry spares and it doesn't hold on your head so good. Thanks for the tips

Just so all of y'all know, this method works perfectly up through the gen 3.5 gear, the gen four doesn't due to a lack of bolts on the side

The headgear out of the box fit onto the pipeliner does not work well at all. It doesn't flip up high enough and because of that it can't hold the weight of the hood up and falls down very easy. What i did was trim the tabs down that stop it from going any higher and now its perfect. It will flip all the way up like it used to with the old headgear.

@joshua you can use the miller hard hat adapter now instead .

I put a Miller Head Gear in my helmet long before this video. It is very uncomfortable. I dislike the Miller's stop lock and angle.
