I had the same problem. First the tree has to recover and get a lots of leaves. Then you can cut back by little steps. You will get lots of buds one by one.

@@WorldofBonsai Ok Thanks. I have had this tree for 2 years and it came that way from the nursery. Last year in the fall time I cut the tips of the tree and removed half of the foliage. I tried ramification on it the best I could. It's now producing small side branches but at a slow rate. I think I need to get it In a humid location to help it out like yours did in this video. I don't have a Glass aquarium though.

Use destilled or rain water

I just use destilled water and no fertilizer. Best for cuttings is anyway mineral substrate or grow substrate.

@@haithm49 no heating. The lights Heat the air up by 2 degrees celsius to 23 degrees. Humidity is around 90%

@@WorldofBonsai thank you so much. I am trying to do the same as you in a medium terrarium. Can I please ask which kind of light are u using and I should use to heat it up? Obviously I do not have spece for a big light as yours, I can ad some of reptiles or what u will suggest. I am going also to use a couple of heating mat. Thanks again 😊

No heating, just use a led grow light as daylight
