We see the classic 1964 musical with new eyes in Jordan Fein's new production, says Paul Seven Lewis in his review. What is it that makes this 60 year old musical one of the most popular ever written and why is this revival so special? One reason is the casting of Adam Dannheisser as Tevye, banishing all memories of Topol in the role. Another is the astounding set design by Tom Scutt. The excellent cast includes Lara Pulver, Liv Andrusier, Hannah Bristow, Georgia Dixon, Dan Wolff, Daniel Krikler, Beverley Klein and Michael S Siegel, with Raphael Papo as the Fiddler.

Fiddler On The Roof can be seen at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre until 28 September 2024.
