Really enjoy your videos giving me great ideas on improving my field target shooting you have a awesome way of explaining your ideas, And that really appeals to me ,thank you, keep it up👍
Thank you for this video! As someone who knows nothing about shooting, you explained everything in detail and in a way that I actually understood. I thought for sure a lot of things would be flying over my head. I feel like I picked up a lot. Is the sitting position mainly for low targets? It looks like anything elevated would be hard to aim for having the rifle rest against the knee.
Thanks, I really appreciate that! The sitting position is used for all types of shots including elevated, level, and depressed. Anything less than roughly 45 degrees elevation can be accomplished by sliding the supporting hand down the calf so you can lean back further. Beyond 45 degrees definitely requires some significant modifications to the position. I'm glad you brought this up, it might be a good topic for another video. PS, I really enjoyed your videos. As someone with almost no knowledge of putting together a tank, it would be really interesting to see an overview of how and why you went the direction that you did.
@@Guru1ofatlThank you so much for the reply and help! I have a hard time picturing things in my head usually, but after your explanation I think I can see it now. I’ll definitely have to try and apply what I learned here whenever the company I ordered from decides to ship out my new rifle. I think the concepts will be clearer in practice. Looking forward to future videos as I slowly make my way through your older ones.
@@marcmyers1465 Hi Marc, thanks for asking. The hand is functional and probably as good as it's going to get at this point. Honestly I'm just glad I still have use of it!
WFTF, HFT, or just generalized shooting all around ? I'm still trying to find the best 3-12 or 10× Compact Scope but I'm not a clicker. I just like small scopes on short solid mounts with the best possible FOV. 🤷🏼♂️
