Got Mulch lol. One problem i see with keeping the canopy high like that is now trimming and topping the tree to encourage more branching becomes difficult. He definitely has room to stash some more varieties of mangoes. I think the current collection of mangoes he has are great. To me there is no one best but more a handful of top tiers.
I only have one and I lost the tag but I think it’s called lacanto or something like that, supposed to have 5lb mangoes but idk. Read bad reviews on it 🤣
Great mango garden tour.Thanks Chris. All his trees are looking happy. How big is the lot? Bill has so many top-tier mango varieties. Jakarta wouldn't crack my top-tier. EI is too stringy. Keitt has issues with MBBS for last couple of years, otherwise, it would be a better option for commercial purposes. But there is no doubt about Bill's supreme taste bud.. I appreciate you Bill for your endeavor towards this journey being a loyal mango lover and a collector. Here is the suggestion for more supreme cultivars if you have room: M4 E4 CAC WHITE PIRIE VENUS CHAUNSA AMRAPALLI (tested in south Florida, came out almost identical from the county of its origin, like KESAR) ORIGINAL LANGRA (native to West Bengal or Bangladesh) MALGOBA (irregular bearer)
