We have hunting and hunting harassment in this week's show. Carly Coates continues her deerstalking education as she tries for a Chinese water deer with Paul. They are stalking in Bedfordshire. Meanwhile Barry Swain, a goose shooter from Yorkshire, finds himself and his family bullied and attacked by anti-hunters, the BBC and even his MP. Hear his story this week. Getting tired of saying this. We have over 150,000 BASC members. Why don't we have a small £10 per year war-chest contribution and simply use this 1.5 million per year pot to start wacking dozens of people with litigation. Make life hell for them. I have asked BASC and I have raised it here too, but nobody seems willing to discuss things... WHY NOT. I'm at Birmingham this weekend, and I'm going to make a bloody nuisance of myself and see if I can get somebody to speak about it. Come on Charlie... direct question to YOU... what's YOUR view on the community taking a little bit of proper proactive legal action?

BSCA seem to be asleep at the wheel for the most part the whole shambles about the general licence in England last year was avoidable but I get the feeling the threats were ignored by the BSCA. I do think some high profile antis need dragged through the courts the antis call it "lawfare" where the aim is to financially cripple a person. Perhaps we need to take them on at their own games.

@@williecosgrove Lol... not sure I'd go that far mate but I know what you're saying. Personally I like Charlie, I just think that BASC and the shooting media are weak. They don't seem to have the stomach to fight. Scared that they will have their RU-vid platform pulled from under them etc. I don't like Packham, but I'll give him one thing, he's got more balls than our lot and he's gaining traction!

She flinched on dry fire! Not good. The 243 is a very mild round. Just saying. Not an expert. The anticipation of recoil is the real issue Use both good ear plugs and big bins. Suppression of sound and teaching a trigger squeeze technique works. My Mannlicher with set trigger works well for new shots.

Charlie, Thank you for this wonderful edition. David, Aiming for accuracy and always targeting the truth!! Oh wait, different show... I miss that one. It was terrific to see Carley out stalking. Paul gave wonderful instructions. On a sad note, we have crazy people here that for some reason stick their beak in place it doesn't belong. Please let Barry know that we here across the pond appreciate what he is doing. Pest control is an important job and for the low life individuals going after his business? Shame on them but then again I'm pretty sure they don't have any shame. I'm guessing that these blokes don't even have a garden... Barry needs to delete his Facebook page and maybe start using a FAC Rated Airgun to hit these Geese. I'm pretty sure that the FX Impact in .25 will do the trick. with a bit of practice, he could be hitting them from 75 to 100yds out. You might even introduce him to Matt from SA or Ted from the US of A... or you can always go and just slap these idiots across the back of the head and tell them to go home or they'll get another. Bet Barry makes them cry!

What appalling policing by W Yorks police, hate crime is supposed to be clamped down on, if anyone behaved like this to a different section of society the police would be all over it. The M P in question should be de-selected, if all the shooters in his constituency joined his party they could call a vote of no confidence & win it & choose a more appropriate candidate to represent the local branch of the party.

We certainly need to find a way to stop harassment of this type. Anyone got any good suggestions that are legal of course. As for Barry, I can't believe he's getting so much backlash from the public and more so the authorities, it's scandalous! Great show by the way.

Gents the proposed ban in Canada is not not all center fire rifles and semi's . It is for Ar15 style rifles and semi autos like the SKS. The handgun ban is up to the local municipalities. Surely some SWAG for this correction?

I cant believe Police are backing the sabs. Surely, if the farmer confirms there are trespassers, they would be the ones carted off? Not the law abiding citizen. Can he not sue the Police for wrongful arrest?
