You did it again. This deck is definitely going on my wish list! Once you started talking about the guidebook along with the artwork I was sold. In the beginning I wasn't much for collage decks, however after I got the Divine Muses Deck it changed for me. I fell in love with that deck and the artwork grew on me. I do also agree, this doesn't seem so busy like other ones I have seen, but the empowerment feeling that comes from this deck is outstanding. The colors and artwork are absolutely what I love. It feels like a different deck than what I have and I feel like this deck could definitely find a comfy place in my ever expanding collection! Thank you for sharing beautiful lady. 💖
Love this deck so much!! We both posted walk throughs of this deck on the same day. Hilarious. I love how there are representations of body types that are similar to mine. It was really great to see that and to see different expressions of body hair.
Thank you for this timely review! Devany's decks have been on my wishlist forever. I finally pre-ordered months and months ago the Serpentfire Tarot. It was really hard to choose between Serpentfire and She Wolfe. I just received the deck and Devany kindly included a discount reward code for being patient.....so, yes! I'm going to order She Wolfe!
It kind of reminds me of the Muse Tarot. At first I didnt think inwas going to connect with the muse,I was having trouble finding the depth I look for but recently we connected and I adore it now!!

I’ve owned this deck (4th edition) for almost a year and LOVE it. Working with it changed the way I see certain cards, including the 7 of Swords. I have to agree with your read on its energy. She is fierce and wild. I use this deck for self empowerment and addressing creative blocks. I hope you love her as much as I do.

@@allyboo7771 Thanks for asking. While there can be an element of deceit in the 7 of Swords, I see it more in terms of integrating conflicting beliefs or “selves.” I tend to read numerically and elementally so sevens are about new challenges (of a more internal nature) and swords are about thoughts, beliefs, concepts and ego-structures. Based on this, the 7 of Swords is less about sneaky behavior and more about addressing internal conflicts and masks.

@@allyboo7771 It’s no bother. I learned this style of reading by working with TdM decks or pip decks. I read books and blog posts by Camelia Elias and then worked out my own way of seeing the numbers and elements through lots of practice. I hope that helps!

Dawn, I’m curious if you still work with and have this deck? I’ve gone back and forth so many times between this & serpentfire. Just trying to be a bit more mindful and less impulsive when purchasing decks lately, but this deck has always piqued my interests. Wonderful video as always. ♥️
i have little hands but my favorite decks are the Star Child tarot and other really big decks. I split the deck into two and then shuffle each pile and then shuffle them together. LOL I really like this deck!
I'm not usually a collage person but wow! This is one is stunning and disappeared off my wishlist idk when? I think I ordered Moonchild because this one was OOP at the time and like you said, they have smiliar aesthetics but totally different vibes.
I actually prefer this one to the Moonchild if I'm honest. I mean, I like the Moonchild, I'll always keep the Moonchild but She Wolfe just speaks directly to something deep inside. 🙂
Had an earlier version of this deck as well as the Serpent Fire Tarot with the mad borders 😂 kept the Serpent Fire & really missed this deck particularly that Hermit Card which for me is the best Hermit Card ever, seeing this later edition I think I need it back, so much for me cutting down my collection 😂.
My moonchild is not soft at all. I find the energy both masculine and feminine and it tends to be very upfront without reserve. I find it fascinating how we all perceive different decks and work with them ♥️
I hesitated getting this deck because it's difficult for me to identify with feminine only decks being a male. However, I got it and I love it! The artist managed to balance the feminine energy with Egyptian and planet/universe energy that anyone can use it. I also got the current edition of the Serpentfire Tarot which is amazing and the Celestial Bodies oracle which is now my all-time favourite astrology deck!
I’d love to hear your thoughts after you work with it awhile, a deeper dive including the guidebook. I’m on the fence with this-collage usually isn’t my thing, but there’s something about this one that’s definitely got my attention. Maybe being a 70’s baby, my visit to Egypt, and coming from a matriarchal family of strong women is resonating with the energy. And that groovy font just kills me. 🤣❤️ Yep, would love to hear what you think after you have a chance to put it through its paces. :)
Hi Dawn, This deck is so cool, love it. I currently have only read on RWS system. Would this be a good Thoth deck to learn from? I looked at the actual Thoth system and I did not click with the art work. I have not seen either of these decks in person though. 💜
As the She Wolfe doesn't stick fully to the Thoth, I'm not sure it would be the best learning deck. However, it might be a good transition deck because it does pull influences from both Thoth and the RWS. I think if it appeals to you then it might be a good one to introduce you to a bit of the Crowley-Harris perspective on Tarot. :)
It's interesting how she's chosen to cover up the parts of ALL of the women of any size, whereas the "body beautiful" women's parts are on full display.
