We will be there in March we haven’t stayed there yet but have been to Sunshine Key last March. Looking forward to the 3 weeks we will be there.

We spent 9 days on Sugarloaf Key first week of December. The no-see-ums were horrible. Just wondering if they’re bad in January too!

They were only bad once the sun set and if the wind was calm. If it's windy, they can't really hang around. I would bring spray no matter what month you visit.

Oh... welcome to Florida! LOL... "no-see-ums" are like micro horse flies... They bite like mosquitos and are very irritating. Our OFF typically works for them as well. They are all over Florida and are at their worst at sunset. and yes, you're dealing with mosquitos too! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ceratopogonidae

We are TT members and have the Adventures upgrade. How busy are they during January or February? How hard is it getting a reservation?

It can be difficult for sure. Book as early as possible and call when you need to. It takes some work to get in around that time.

This year, yes. We upgraded this past year. We still ran into an allocation problem but was persistent and eventually got the days we wanted.

I believe we saw a HD right in there but the sites that size are limited. I would definitely call.

It’s misleading to post this at $20 per night when, in reality, it comes after spending thousands on a membership.

Yes, this is part of the thousand trails membership. However, I’m paying that fee regardless if I’m at this park or somewhere else. The monthly payment of the membership + $20 is still way less than a weekly retail rate.

If you just park grab 2 chairs and do nothing. This place is perfect. Spent 2 weeks there it was horrible rules and regulations felt like a community. Or a retirement home. The only good thing there the restaurant and dj. That's it. This is for boring 😴 people only.
