Probably would be minimal difference in terms of performance? Most of the cold air is from the intercooler anyway. I wouldn't compromise the look of the front by having a gaping hole in the fog light area.
dude I came across you awhile back when you had an e87, that's when I got my e81 so I used to follow your videos and buy the same mods you have, now I'm tryna learn how to do a cold air feed!
I've got myself just a standard cone filter for my st, kinda dropped in power to be honest, ordered myself one of these to hopefully resolve the issue 😬
If its just a big cone you've installed with the standard hose you wont gain that natural 10bhp because of restrictions youd more likely lose power, I'd recommend a stage 2 Airtec induction or any mid range upward induction. The airtec it comes with all the bits for installing and sounds amazing (gained power and more fuel efficient) hope that helps 😎💪.
One thing I can recommend is that it would be much easier to reach the fog light from underneath the car rather than taking off the headlight, but I guess more mobility would be better
What if it starts raining heavy like it has been lately....would water in the intake harm or jeopardize you car?? What do you think? Bc I seen one of these on Amazon and want it but I think and think maybe a short ram intake might be better what do you think?
Yes I still have the filter the pipe is just there for more cold air to go to the air filter And I removed both fog lights There are cars with no fog lights
