FIFA 19 is fundamentally flawed. It has been flawed for a long time. But the problems have never been clearer. It’s not easy narrowing it all down to a single factor, but in my opinion, it is all down to one word: resources. I think EA has found their profit margin. Their goal is to steer every customer into FUT, then create an incentive for everyone who plays the game to buy FIFA points. They want to achieve this by having the least amount of employees. It makes for great business, but the game suffers greatly. We all see the immense potential this game has, and not only FUT. Career mode and Pro clubs are so incredibly neglected by EA, it’s disgusting. If you want to see how fundamentally broken this game is, all you need is to look at the current state of FUT. The game is more about collecting shiny new cards, than it is about actual gameplay. People are investing an absorbent amount of money and/or time getting cards, that has no intrinsic value and come the next release of FIFA, the cards are no longer relevant. Repeat this every year. The FIFA community is a laughing stock because of this, and for good reason. Players are playing the game so in the end they can get rewards. The grinding aspect has been put out of gameplay, and into SBC’s and other menu stuff. Gameplay has become an inconvenience, rather than being the absolute main part of the game. People aren’t playing DOTA, LoL, Fortnite and other games just because in the end they might get some rewards. No, they are having fun with the game whether it’s casual or competitive. Whether they get items or not. Those games are like 95% gameplay, 5% microtransactions/menu content. The gameplay is so bad this year, EA has to cover it up with constant promotions and content just so people actually has a reason to log onto the game. When there's no event going on, suddenly the community realize how broken the game is and they start demanding EA to take action. All it takes for EA to shut them up, is to release a worthless patch that won't make any drastic difference, or new cards. SO STOP BUYING FIFA POINTS, I BEG ALL OF YOU!
I remember playing online seasons division 1 with silver team full of beast players like agbonlafor, opara even bronze wyne(93 pace cb) in fifa 16. Now i cant even play 3 games in division 4 without seeing the same 20 players

Eclipse it’s just EAs way to have multiple coin sinks so you constantly feel like you need to buy fifa points in order to get good players to sell to get coins, it sucks that fitness squads aren’t viable this year because of how all our game modes are competitive
They totally missed the boat this year... can you imagine how hype it would have been if they did a champions league style tournament in FUT where you play 6 Group stage games then the knockouts so if you win then that’s 10 games... basically like how it was in World Cup mode but you get different rewards and different requirements each time ... like you could pick a team and let’s say have like 3 man city players and then you get a man city pack or epl pack if you win... stuff like that would make it so much more fun to play

Thing I can't stand the most is accidentally switching to my defender for a split second gets me scored on the majority of the time. I tested a few games this weekend where I literally didn't do anything on defense and would just go heavy attack when the AI got the ball back and I had better results than trying to play the game correctly.
Recently i’ve tried playing possession based football and hold long possessions with different tactics like overlapping fullbacks, false 9 striker. Trying to score good looking realistic goals which is how i enjoy playing the game. But it’s just such a shame that I can give the ball away one time and my opponent goes down the other end and uses game exploits to score cheap goals like crosses, jammy defending etc
Over lapping fullbacks on join attack is so fun to play with. Yeah occassionly you get caught on a fast counter but it makes gameplay so much fun and unpredictable. You have no options then Kyle walker just comes bombing past you and you create a good chance. Soooooo boring seeing every "pro" set everything to stay back whilst attacking.
Makes me laugh that they can’t release content/cards on twitter without countless mistakes. Finishing, Goalkeeper Movement (WHY!!!) and Kick Offs are the three most frustrating things on this game though. AND the pointless optimus prime icons that no one will ever get.
You forgot ai defending , 50-50's that bounce back to your opponent all the time , stand tackles , servers , first touches , delay, speed lag and fifa points. Servers , delay and Ai defending are the MAIN! things that needs fixing then the shooting and everything else but won't happen as ea don't give a toss about he fifa community .

wc mode and the tots daily tournament (to some extent) was some of the most fun I had in Fifa in a while... if it weren't for flashback cards this Fifa would have been long over for me
I played FUT Champions this weekend. I have a great team and have been playing the game since 1998. Ultimate team playing since 2013. I quit playing this weekend because the game was so slow and irresponsive. At one instance I had button delay of over 1 second. I play on PC. Its impossible to play and comes down to pure luck. Sometimes I even feel the game is rigged, but, I don't know anymore. Most players I face, I can feel are much behind me, but still I can not win, because my pass travels so slow, my Overmars, Henry, Mbappe, its almost that they have like 78 speed. So slow response. When the game runs well... I just win, win, win. But its very rare. Sometimes, like 3 AM is when this happens. But not always.
I finished 27 wins this weekend and gameplay was so smooth, such an enjoyable experience. Too bad next week may be horrible due to inconsistent gameplay
Have you opened any packs using Fifa point? Because when you do that I feel like EA gives you a boost to feel like what you paid for is worth it. Happened to me alot in Fifa 17. Once I stopped buying Fifa points , 80% of the games have become pure hell and trash.

@@SHiFTySCoReR me too man. I managed to get many players, including informs and 88+ rated players without a penny. But the gameplay is still hideous. I feel like nothing I do changes my experience.
I think adding a tournament mode people would still use full meta teams and just play it so they could have easier opponents. However I do think adding a plethora of challenges would be an astronomicly good addition because it would force people to use different cards. Which would make people use different teams in tournament mode.

I used to be a really big PES player but since Konami screws over the PC community year after year, I decided they do not earn my money any more. I tried PES 2019 and it runs like dogshit on a pretty beefy pc. It stutters like hell. It's unplayable. This makes me so sad, I wish things were different, but it's the way it is.. I have fifa 19 installed but don't play it as often as I would like to. It's just not enjoyable. It's a vicious cirklejerk of disappointment and frustration. There is nothing to do except spend irl money to pack some Kagawa's. Makes me sick
I basically only play career mode, played enough fut each year to build AVFC full team so only a handful of games and I mostly play the draft bc I like packs and it's like the only semi sustainable way to play if your shit :(
There needs to be a mode that: A) has rating+chemistry caps dividing people into ranks they want to play in, like S rank 190+ overall, A 185-189 overall etc. and B) does not count your bench towards the overall, only starting 11, so people can't put 3 subs on the bench and fill the rest with bronzes to have 180 rating witha full icon squad.
@@modest123 Why would I upgrade my squad if I'm going to face better squads. Why would I be motivated to upgrade if I am already winning with Jesus and martial? Why would I want to use messi if I know that my opponents will have Vieira? Also judging by rating isn't always correct. For example Cavani is hight rated but if Ben Vedder is better and lower rated. I think that even in this game mode people would try to use the most meta players for each tier
Nah I like this idea dude. Like match us up according to squad rating but only starting 11. Like that should go into their match making. I think even take it a step further and count icons. If I have 0 icons then don’t match me against a 6 icon team. Or special cards if I only have gold then I should get matched maybe against 1-2 special player squads or 1-2 icons.

It’s funny cuz I just started playing ultimate team for the first time 3 months ago and I’ve played fifa for the longest time and have been amazing and fun til I decided to play ultimate team this year..now all I want to do is get the best players to compete..that’s all I think about now..I have Aguero, Kane , Lewa, Pogba, neymar, etc(all earned from grinding and haven’t spent a SINGLE DOLLAR on this game)and thinking I was gonna enjoy playing with them but NOPE...lost so many matches and guess what...yep sold them all and brought back my old Brazilian squad and had much more fun playing even though I would lose here and there becuz I felt I needed better players to win but didn’t work out that way...I lost acouple matches in fut champs and stopped playing cuz I knew I wouldn’t make it to elite and what did I do next? Went and played my online Seasons mode (rank1/top 800 in the world, I know still grinding to get higher) but enjoyed it so much better than fut champs....so will I still play ultimate team- yes here and there just becuz it’s still new to me but when I play that mode all I think bout is grinding to get THE BEST player all around to compete not even thinking bout how fun it’s gonna be...so with everything being said I don’t disagree with anything y’all talking about...amen brothers...love watching both y’all videos keep em coming...
In Fut Champs I literally lost to 3 El Tornado goals from outside of the box. I dominated completely and once he went up he parked the bus and just passed in the back until the game was over. People just don’t make this game fun anymore.
The thing that hurts me about this game, is I am La Liga fan, i used to love playing as isco or Asensio, i had fun. But now? I have to play other leagues like Premier League or Serie A, because the have usable players. In La liga you have pretty much no such players, except for high-tier ones. For Example, Isco, i love playing him, but he's so slow and weak that there is no point in using him on FC or DR.
Completely agree about the finesse shot meta. It was an absolute shambles and embarrassing. The game is mildly better after the patch, but it’s still like putting Icing Sugar on a Turd, it still stinks underneath and is completely fucked at its core.
All they've got to do is remove overpowered AI defending to atleast create a skill-gap, i played the last weekend league after 3 months of not playing FIFA countless times all my opponents did was run down the wings & spam crosses when they got the ball
On-release FUT18 was amazing, true skill gap with the least amount of autodefending I can remember. Lasted what, 2 weeks until the kiddies made EA change it? lol
I must be the only player on fifa that thinks crosses are dogshit. Probably score like 1 in 30 crosses. The other 29 get headed away or the keeper deals with it.
To be honest I think they should make a combination of SBCs and Daily Objectives. So basically, same SBC type squads however instead of just submitting them, you have to win say 2-3 games with that squad in order to earn the SBC card. This would make the game to much more enjoyable. Not only do you try different teams but you actually get the ability to get an amazing player by simply grinding the game. It is genuinely such a simple tweak that can actually change so much for this company. But it sucks they only care about making money off of FIFA points and EA always shy away from the real thing they need to care about. They fail to care about making a proper football simulation that you can enjoy.
I am much more enjoying playing seasons ATM,, I look up all different leagues that are in Fifa and scope out what teams I like and what teams are in form ,, The games do be really enjoyable because I feel the other person playing is doing the exact same thing Bottom line,, I’m playing with more teams , tactics , discovering more players and having an appreciation for the stats of players Respect for what your constantly making our community aware of Inception 👍

Fifa has been bad since FIFA 15/16- I can't remember which one, but it was the iteration when they tried to make the game more of simulator than as an arcade game. It baffles me that people think 19 is bad, when they've bad for a long time.
You should look at PES 2015 Online Master League. It had a skill rating like division rivals, and there was online cups with requirements (for example max rating), you got coins from playing this cups. It was beautiful
I'm in a wierd state with Fifa as i love Football too, but before Fifa 19 i have had my rage moments we all have but now i can honestly say i 'hate' the gameplay in Fifa 19 it's boring and mind numbing to play. Just to state i have played 3 weekend leagues (i refuse to play anymore) and i finished Elite 3 in 2 that i fully finished and Gold 1 in one i gave up on and in Division 2 in rivals.
I think what happened was his van nistelroy review was motivating people to do his sbc and the people went like you are working with ea and shit just go and watch his review on van nistelroy every 5 mins he’s just he’s so good

I think EA knows we aren’t unified as a community. We all feel the same but yet they keep posting record profits. We are giving them literally no incentive to change. Would love a big RU-vidr to start a petition as I guarantee 90% of the community would sign it and that would show EA we are serious!
Finishing is terrible people argue about low driven last year but at least you can score one on ones. But this year every god damn player cross after cross. And people like me that don’t cross and try skill moves and try pass AI drop back defense you caught up against goalkeeper moves like Spider-Man with attacker that can’t finish
Don't know if you've ever played MLB the show but i played it last year & they have immortals which are essentially legends & you can grind for them usually takes maybe 4-10 days depending on how much you play but once its done you get a 99 rated card which is only obtainable by actually playing the game i think that is amazing compared to FIFA where all the best cards are purchased giving people no incentive to play with or for these cards There will never be a casual game mode really with broken mechanics & AI defending being OP because every game mode they add will give rewards which people will try hard to win, stop trying to say online tournaments are casual, did you not play the world cup mode last year it was worse than futchamps with sweaty bastards on a game mode where there wasn't even a freaking market.
It would really be a good idea to put a lot of objectives, like imagine, win 300 games and you get a cristiano Ronaldo, play with certain squad 50 games and get this player, etc. Fifa has a lot of content but gameplay is awful, and that is really sad

Yesterday I scored such a shitty goal for 2:0 that made ME rage quit the game. Yes you read that right haha I scored a goal and I was winning but the gameplay was so horrible that I just turned my ps4 off.
One thing I dnt hear enough of an outcry about is they completely fucked over people who did prime icon sbcs already. I did Figo and Raul, if I knew a better version was going to be released i wouldve saved my untradeables and icons and shit to do them. Now they say there will be an 'opportunity' to upgrade them to their moment version but when will that be? and for how much? Another fucking million coins? Icon moment Best is almost 4 million coins, no way u are going to be able to upgrade him for another 100/200k.

Isn't it stupid how for their competitive game mode, everyone is not on equal footing? If you think of these battle royale or shooter games, you can't buy an advantage. It's based on skill and some luck (more so for battle royale). If I wanted to qualify for one of their events, I should be able to use any player in the game. And I am referring to someone who doesn't have the most time to grind without putting any money into it.
I just dont have a lot of hope that EA will do anything about the issues that are brought up in Nick's video and your videos. I want to believe they will fix the game but I am not sure EA cares enough. Their actions continually show that they care about money and not much else. It is sad for the FIFA and football community.

EA have the thing we want, just put DAILY KNOCKOUT TOURNAMENT from FIFA 18 in the game with another name and better prizes, but EA dont seem to want us to have fun.

Adding a feature like timed finishing only to remove it mid year shows EA does't have a clue about game development and listening to the community. I hate rivals cos its so sweaty amd the finesse meta was stupid in terms of football but imo it was more FUN than park the bus, not realistic but fun, for me the fun us better than playing where everyones just sat back.
