Andy if you made people use a certain formation for the discards, then we would be able to guess the positions easier, because the way it works right now is that we don’t know so how can we guess? Maybe like 41212 or something?

when clicking triangle for search player when you find the player you want you have to click him then use L1 to go to the team page then you can push X on the position you want him in. Or simply just press square and then find the player and click him and straight away he will go in the team.

I think you should get people to comment in sets then choose your discards from them sets for example I would comment for you to pick the LB, RCB, CAM, LS. And then a second set like GK, RB, RW then you would pick between those sets and if you score less goals than how many players are in the set then you choose what positions to pick between the options and if you score more then you add more players to the set

when you press search ( triangle ), you need still to "swap" your chosen concept player with the empty position. or select the position, press "rb" and search your player. you'll see in the upper left, that you're about to swap the empty position with a player. third option is to use "multi swap"

Andy, I think you should've just clicked on a player once and then switch to the squad screen with the l1 button to position. The triangle search is not position-specific. Just use the square. That's what you wanted all along

idea for sbsd: rewards for guessing multiple players. for example: getting a dirty double gets you another trump card for another turn, ( gets a dirty double in the midfield, uses trump card but unlocked a trump card for the defense ) getting three players at once: (ST RM LM) gets you two trump cards in that same turn to spice things up ya feel? :p
