it might be because you don't do it quick enough after the ball roll, you have to press the scoop turn buttons almost before the ball roll animation starts :)

Some of the reasons I get discouraged doing most skill moves is that they're never really consistent. Just like this one. Unless this skill is not being taught properly and something is missing in the tutorial. (Edit) I came back to my comment about 8 minutes later and figured out what I was doing wrong. I feel like in skill move tutorials, certain aspects of the skill move must be very emphasised so that people can learn it properly and be able to do it consistently almost straight away like I've done just now. The main thing that is NOT emphasised here (for newbies like me) is the angle at which you point the joysticks actually matter! The right stick must be pointed 90º (which is obvious since that's the normal ball roll) BUT (and this is the more important part) The left stick MUST be pointed 45º when doing the fake shot IMMEDIATELY after the ball roll

Iv never been a fan of skilling (over skilling I should say). But this fifa requires it just Cz it makes defenders get sucked into some animation that lets me go by them and get a speed boost. I guess you gotta join them to win lol 😂

Do anyone know why when I try to do this with a 4 star player it works but just sometimes? With 5 stars it happen always, but when I try it with a 4 stars guy, sometimes works, sometimes don't, I mean, the scoop turn

After the ball roll do we have to tilt the left stick first and the fake shot or fake shot comes first then the ls🤔

Guys keep your thumb on the right analog stick, as soon as you done holding a second for ball roll immediately slide your thumb over Square and X , don't just take off your finger from analog and then do fake shot after. All action has to be done at once. Think about writing a word without taking pen of off the paper, same logic. Just slide your thumb between button, otherwise it won't do it most of the times
