So, in the second phase, the unpicked curtain carries the chance, meaning it has 66.7% to contain the prize. It's easier to understand it if you scale the problem to 100 curtains, with one prize. After you choose one, the presenter opens 98 curtains that contain no prize and asks you to change. The unpicked curtain carries an astonishing 99% chance of containing the prize.

When you choose between 1 out of 3 you her 33,3% if later they tell you to choose out of two and if you want to change yours, statistically you should choose the other one because it's a 50% choice decision and you would have gained 16.7% of probability

The Monty hall problem is about odds. It was in a film I watched with Kevin Spacey and they explained it like this: There’s a game show and behind one of the doors is a prize but behind the other two is nothing. If you picked door 1 you had a 1/3 chance of picking the prize. The game master then opens the 3rd door to show it empty and asks you whether you’d want to change your door to door 2, do you swap? Door 2 now has a 2/3 chance of having the prize in it as the odds of door 3 fall to 0 and the odds at which you picked the first door was 1/3. Many people say switching is the smarter choice. But after all it’s probability based. It absolutely doesn’t work here in this case as they have completely different squads but Andy would have to have balls of steel to guess Ronaldinho in RW and then have him in RW after saying what he said 🤣
