@@jenuds Been using it plug and play with the K1 sound card but i'm not that contented with the output volume since the mic volume knob is already on full but the mic sound isn't loud enough for me so I decided to connect the mic through a mixer for extra gain then connected the micer to the sound card. Do you think it's a good idea? 😄 I just need a little more gain to get what I want and I think the mixer would help

I have been using the K688 since it was released in 2022 and loving it. The microphone sounds good with filters of course. I also replaced the foam with a SM7B version. Maybe I should try flipping the mic around like you did. XLR sounds so much better and louder.

They upgraded the fifine 688 in 2023. It now has a more recessed capsule, better windscreen. And dialed in the tone better.

hey, thanks for this review, im planning to upgrade my microphone, i was searching for a usb/xlr microphone so that i can gradually shift to xlr, my budget is really tight, how is this microphone so far?

In my opinion, yes this is a good choice.
