Asalaamualaykum, I think you actually missed the point. Are you correct in that he only spoke about it for a short amount of time at the end. Definitely, however the buildup he did perfectly summarizes why riba is haram. If you understand the foundation you don't need anything else tbh. May Allah reward you for seeking beneficial knowledge and may he reward you with the best in this life and the hereafter. Ameen

Assalamualaikum brother. Firstly, I ask Allah to forgive me for my shortcomings in serving His cause and assisting the Muslim community. Sadly the time was not suitable for the topic at hand and from an andragogy perspective using the time to focus on the 'why' before the 'how' is considered the best approach. In addition, the Masjid did state that there would be time to take audience questions on the topics you speak about in the late-night QA session.
