The contrast between the Bengals and most NFL teams is brutal. In most cases, you are cut and have a small discussion with the coach or the GM if you are cut. The Bengals waive you, ask you where you want to fly to and tell you that someone will call you regarding the flight.
They dealt with Uteck b so much better than the Miami dolphins have with their an. Bengals cared about the human while the dolphins don’t care if the next concussion he gets could destroy that dudes life.
I love the attitude and charisma from the TE coach...smart funny and engaging while coaching....not only trying to make better players but better men....with that being said... Go Bills!!
The Bengals made the playoffs in 2009, so I guess their offseason work paid off. They lost their playoff game, but Cedrick Benson set a franchise playoff record with 169 rushing yards. I doubt that will ever be broken in my lifetime.
@@expertivy2655 I was just being sarcastic😁 But yeah the Dolphins sucks, might get better with a new head coach, but they need a good Qb (not sure if Rosen is the answer, just have to wait and see) and Ravens is pretty much up and down all the time, not sure if they are going to do better or worse with Lamar running for his life, just have to see for them too. But just so you know I have nothing against the Bengals (except poor management of the team in this Hard Knocks series, I hope they manage the team better now with the new head coach). They are actually one of the teams that I don't dislike. So for your sake I hope you do better this year. I wish you good luck this season!
Say what you will about the XFL but I am very happy alot of these guys that get cut will have a place to go prove themselves and potentially come back and make millions of dollars.
The left upright at soldier field youre a Fool , the average salary is around 1 million at a high point realistically 900,000 $ and thats taxed so they’re only seeing half of that. It helps your perspective when you actually understand things.
Dawwwwwwwg Corey Lynch got his ass SAVED 😂😂💀 that pick was handed to him off a muffed catch after he blew his coverage ON THE GUY WHO DROPPED THE PASS, and he couldn't even do anything with it 🤦♂️ he was standing still for 2 seconds when he got up, he was shocked himself
I always Google the rookies to see if they hung around for awhile most are no Chris Presley hung around few years Cory Lynch did okay signed with another team
For somebody like Dorsey to go through the ups and downs of this last game and still contribute on special teams shows his heart and just how much he wanted it. He could have easily just sulked because of the poor offensive line play he had to run behind but his positive spirit shun through. Beyond football he seemed like a really good guy
The first Hard Knocks was the Baltimore Ravens. Billick spoke to every player he cut. Lewis was the DC on that coaching staff. This appears that the only time Marvin Lewis told a player he was cut, was the last guy. Terrible! Have the guts to tell a player he has been cut, face to face!
Maybe some people are too sensitive for telling players that they're cut! Maybe he has to pass it by, not wanting to do that! it might be too hard for him! Who are we to judge!? we don't know the circumstances behind that decision.
We fuckin get it... Rip Cedric but what makes you think that after the first thousand rip's your comment will add anything of substance to the comment section fucks sake
Wonder why coaches stop wearing suits on the sidelines pretty classy look. "Always a step behind the other guy" Who is that? "The whole damn defense" 😂😂☠💀
I know Ochocinco gets a lot of hate cuz of the social media thing , but he was one of the first players to be introduced into sports Twitter/social media that we know today
It was always going to be coaching holding them back. Marvin Lewis wasnt a guy that could get a team over that hump, neither was guys like Mike Zimmer and Mike Brown is a horrible cheap owner that meddles in dumb ways that hamstring the team. They were never contenders, never could win a playoff game, they were the illusion of contenders
Sadly, Ben Utecht's post-NFL life turned into what he was trying avoid -- memory loss and long-term neurological damage. He received a $1 million arbitration judgment from the Bengals when he was released from the team later this same season.
