I think this is an interesting concept, but it's also missing something. In the run that Z won, he basically ran out of decisions to make at the 30% mark and just had to keep going forward until he hit the finish line. Some sort of relic system and/or track switching system, where you can take on extra challenges for extra rewards or quicker runs, might help.

The first damage upgrade doubles your damage from 5 to 10. Getting it up to 20 or 25 is really good for the first guys. Even before the speed. Knockback is pretty much useless.

While the train derailment in India is horrific and tragic, I don't think you can equate this game to that event. This is a game about defending a train against zombies. Besides, If content creators had to filter their content based on current events then there would be no content released at all.
