i have vinyl face doll keychain that always gets colored by my bag/clothes/other random stuff. does this clear coat help with color transferring/easier to clean???
I find building gundam model kits really give you a lot of experience when it comes to stuff like this. Panel lining and giving it a matt finish is basically second nature at this point
I’m thinking of doing a matte finish on best selection naruto after a black wash is applied. Would this prevent the wash from being removed after time?
Question, I'm about to test the Mr. Super Clear, with a Master Chief action figure, would I cover up his visor? Which is metallic brozey/gold paint, or spray it as well?
I know im super duper very late about commenting but i have a question can i apply second coat spray if im not satisfied? Its ok if you dont reply i completely understand😁😁👍🏻
This is really cool, but I’m having issues with super tight ball joints on the legs/hips of my Deku, cooler, all might and even bakugo a bit. I would love to know a good way to loosen them; if you have any ideas I’d be super grateful
I have my own dstartoys.com/collections/repairs-and-services/products/dr-dstars-100-silicone-oil-tight-joint-loosener?variant=34534112133278 I am sold out but tbh any 100% silicone oil that you find on Amazon should suffice. Try to avoid the sprays though they have petroleum in them that can degrade plastic
Dstar01 awesome! Thank you so much! Shame that you’re sold out lol I appreciate all of your advice so now I know what to look for. Last thing I want is to break off a leg from the recent additions especially all might Deku and cooler. They’re amazing pieces
Dstar01 btw does this elixir work if a leg socket is loose for the ball joint? For example if I try to move my SS goku version 2’s right leg it just pops off the socket. (Thanks for all your help and helpful videos)
In terms of mr.hobby, do you prefer super clear or the topcoat that you used in your spiderman video? I just want the best spray that isn't sticky when I mess with my figures
Anyone know what is the best matte top coat for the shfiguarts dragon ball line? I used tamiya matt top coat on a few of my figures, once applied and dried it looks really good for about 6 days, but then the coat seems to start wearing off and looking all weird and sticky, I have no idea what makes the coat react like that, specially after it's aready applied and sealed. I'm looking to have a durable matt finish but idk what's the right product to use on these things. Hope someone will take the time to read this and help a fellow collector out
@Dstar01 hey bro, just wondering, i've had the original figuarts broly out on a shelf for a couple years, its quite dusty, about to move it into a detolf but wanna clean it, any tips on best and safest method to clean all the dust off?
50 % Rubbing Alcohol Warm Tap water 1:1 mix ratio Q-Tips Take one q-tip Dab one q-tip into alcohol/water mix(no need to soak it) Lightly rub shine out(a-HA! I see how that reads) Wash with soapy water Bam you just saved yourself some cash! End of line...
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL......................Get real dude. Unless your models are sitting outside in direct sunlight all day UV isn't going to affect or dull them.
