I have never, ever seen anyone successfully pull off a figure four takedown on someone who wasn't already semi conscious. This is one of the lowest percentage takedowns you will see in Police DT. I have to wonder why this move seems to be such a significant component of this system.
Yes mycro it is a demo... Any one with fight skills or commonsense could right hook the cop because even at full speed they move to slow... Yes I am a wrestler and that is a weak as technique... One would have much better success to start from a Russian tie position and then transition... Instead from a distance where u get your weak ass clocked for having your left side UN gaurded bc you were foolish to be reaching from a distance instead of closing the gap first!
That’s what I was wondering about too. I mean I can obviously see the tactical advantage aswell as leverage, but if too much weight is placed on the side of the neck wouldn’t that make them pass out due to a blood choke?
