Figure Match Up: Mcfarlane Vs Neca: Robocop 

I like Mcfarlane Toy's version more than neca. By the way, Its from the first movie where Robocop raids a drug factory and its not a trash can its a drum full of cocaine

I know this is an old review but in Robocop the original he did in fact have lots of blue and purple over him, the second movie he was just more blue so the McFarlane one was accurate, the overly rounded hips however...... Neca wins IMO when you lower his helmet a lil more

Neca is good for today’s figures but let’s not forget and pay our respects to the grand daddy that started all this and paved the way for figures today let’s all thank Mcfarlane

I would go for the Mcfarlane version, it's taller and it has the base, don't get me wrong Neca's version is awesome as well.

Well, I think Neca one has better chest plate but worse bucket like helmet that makes robocop look nosy. Macfarlane one has better color and head.

NECA went with an open hand cause RoboCop doesn't walk around with a clenched fisted left hand. No one does that lol.

I think the trash can is supposed to be from the first movie, is the scene where he arrest the entire drug or coke factory, I think the drum it supposed to be a drum full of cocaine and the uzi, the shot gun shells are all from that one scene. Remember one of the guys had an uzi submachine gun and most had shot guns. Great review! Hey who would win between the terminator and robocop?

i have em both, both are amazing, but i give it to neca only cuz of articulation and the amazing job they did in general for the price point, i paid 24 bucks for him, if he was 50 i still would have been happy. Neca always give u more of a bang for ur buck then most

Great review. I laughed a bit at 19:16 because the McFarlane Robo looks so sad. My old McFarlane figure's head and right leg fell apart upon removing him from the box ages ago, so I just picked up the new blue-ish NECA one with a Jetpack, holster leg, and interchangeable arm cannon.

Now you ought to see the new Robocop from NECA and it's new accessories .. along with the new Ed 209 articulated sound effects robot

Well I just saw your review on the robo cops from McFarland and NECA.. and the only thing you didn't try my friend was to see if Neca's Robocop gun would fit in the McFarlane RoboCop gun hand... that would have been nice to see my friend..

Mcfarlane's figure of robocop is much better, in my opinion. I have only neca robo, but i can see mcfarlane's quality in painting and decals in your video.. mcfarlane robo is awesome! I supposed to admit it)

The McFarlane version could be any of the three films but more likely the last two due to the blueish tint. Peter Weller only played the character in the first film, so his likeness not being as exact for McFarlane actually makes sense if you think about it that way. Have to side with NECA here. I'm basing more off movie accuracy and his chest proportions. I actually like McFarlane's blueish tint on the armor better, but NECA looks more accurate. It is a tragedy neither one of them have removable helmets. I'm especially surprised NECA didn't go with that addition especially since how much more could it have really cost? Maybe they didn't have the likeness rights from Peter Weller? That's a very likely scenario.

Figure beats both hands down, I feel.

The chest is bigger on the NECA one, which was always one of my chief complaints on the McFarlane one, as it causes the proportions to be slightly off with the smaller chest. The gun is also slightly off scale, as you noted, the NECA one is larger... this is why. As for the open hand, if you go back and watch the original Robocop, he would always have an open hand off hand when he would shoot his gun. He would raise the off arm with an open hand. Screen accurate... I dig it. The McFarlane one was good... great for its time, but there is just little slight details that are just ever so slightly off that NECA improved upon... an impressive feat as, since you noted, they can only do so much with Robocop.

Neca purely because the leg holster required some thought and I have had the first gen since 2011 I think and it is a durable figure

When Robocop fires, he shoots one handed while the other hand is open in the air. He balances & aims like old Gunslingers.

Es una pena que Neca no haya añadido en su última figura Ultimate alguna mano intercambiable más, y alguna cabeza o cascos como lo hace la marca Mafex, los precios han subido en los últimos años y Neca no ha sido capaz de mejorar los accesorios con el paso de los años. Tengo la figura de Robocop 3 con el Jetpack y es exactamente igual que la últimate, sólo han cambiado la pintura y añadido la cabeza de Murphy (o quien quiera que sea). Ojalá mcfarlane hubiera seguido haciendo figuras, ya que viendo las 2 figuras, es más bonita la de mcfarlane.

I'm not a fan of the blue paint applications on the McFarlane one because in the second and third film, I think it looked too unrealistic. I'm just waiting for a Robocop figure with a removable helmet piece. I think that would be sick as f%+k!!! Once again, you successfully managed to make another great figure match-up video!!! ;)

Yeah neca is better

Mc Farlane opened the door to quality figures, but neca has earned it's place among the best toy companies these days. They had some misses, but they had a lot of hits as well. Their Predator line's awesome. I love how they managed to capture Arnold's likeness. The articulation' s improved a lot since their earlier figs. Now that they found a way to give us a 7 in Keaton Batman despite the legal loopholes, I personally rank neca my favorite toy company. I can't afford Hot Toys,but neca gives us an affordable quality fig.

This one seems too close to call for me. I like both figures, but don't have either one so I'm basically learning about them from this video haha. The accessories all look amazing, and the details on both figures are awesome. Good stuff man, I always enjoy these comparison videos.

I so want one!.... just wish the would make an Extra Large one 2.... I have a almost 17 Inch tall Hellboy and want to find a Robocop, a Spawn, a Predator, a Venom and a Wolverine that are the same size as my Hellboy.......do you maybe know of any companies that makes 16-17 inch action figurines?

I love more mcFarlane figures the only problem in the figures mcF it's the material super sensitive for broken neca figures it's more hard plastic or pvc and better articulated
