I like the Robocop 2 paint job a lot as a general Robocop. Its like a nice middle ground between the first and second movie. Like if I was going to buy one I think that would be the one...but...I do prefer the battle damage parts from the Robocop 1 figure.
Yea the robo 2 fig definitely not as blue as the film but yea it's like a in between 1 and 2. Lol yea is hard to decide on 1 cosbu can't not have him in the clean factory look but the battle damaged look is also quite amazing hehe.
Great video. I got all 5 as well. I think the Robocop Murphy Damage Ver is the best 1/12 figure of the year. The likeness and the damage sculpt are phenomenal!
Nice!!! Congrats. They are all quite good, definitely beat all the other robocops out there currently, except hot toys lol. That moviev1 battle damaged look is my fav too, just can't beat that.
Fantastic review! No one had tackled this before. I had high expectations for the battle-damaged Robocop 2 figure, but the fact that it comes with a statue and the parts aren't interchangeable led me to cancel my order. Stepping back, I believe that Robocop 3 stands out as the best in terms of accessories. While the jetpack may not be flawless, it's a valuable addition. With these options available, I doubt we'll ever see a definitive version from Mafex.
Yea the robo 3 version is definitely a good overall representation of robocop across the board. I too was a bit disappointed with the lack of arm movement for that robo 2 damaged piece. I wanted to take that piece and do some photography but am stuck with limited option. The full figure that came with the damaged look is painted exceptionally well compared to the rest that came before it, granted it is not movie accurate paintjob, but definitely a good one.
@@toys210 lol yeah maybe they used images from the game as their reference. I'm inclined to think so based on how much pink there is on this figure. It was also very prominent in game under the right lighting conditins
I like the Robocop 2 version. He may not have the first movie accessories, but its paint job is more like the first movie’s blended armor color instead of all silver.
sucks the 2 version with the disassembled torso doesn't come with a blue helmet, they could've sacrificed the head with pupils and gave the helmet head!
Sorry for the late reply. That's a tough question...but I think if I have to pick only 1 then I would probably pick robocop 3 because that one can double as movie 1 and 3 and the armor is clean. The reason i picked that is based on the pricing right now and robocop 1 is long Bern sold out so the price of that one would be high, but you can still get robocop 3 and that's still retail value. But your question is which I would keep, so is based on the fact that I own all of them....then I would keep battle damaged movie 1 robocop because that has the most detailing and I love that you can see Murphys face.
