Ma'am, if we take these two words 'void' and 'avoid' for an example , where the root word is 'void' but both the words has different meanings..so in that case can we call it an instance of Polyptoton?
No. polyptoton is the same word being repeated but appearing each time in a different case. Here void and avoid are not different case but are totally unrelated. Void and voidness, avoid and avoidance are polyptoton
