I came with my final design for the removable battery for Fiido bikes.
Things started in August last year, and now i made a new version.
How you connect the adapter you will see in the video (Sorry if i made some mistaked when i spoke)
For most of the adapters this needs some soldering + cutting wires. Play attention not to cut both wires in the same time, because it will cause a small short circuit. This is especially if you want to change the connector on the charging port. For the wires that goes to controller, i recommand to solder directly to the connector. I have also exxample when people didnt change any connector or shoorten the wires. They put all the wires inside the adapter and that ok. Pay attention to the polarity of the wires. make a photo before opening the battery compartiment to see where the postiive and negative is. Keep the same polarity otherwise you will ruin your controller
I design this hinge, lets say, by using some M2 screws. The adapter will come ready to use. With M2 screws in place and with the 3d printed support removed.
I will explain you what type of adapters we have
1. Old D4S, with hole. Is the picture with number 1. This is for the D4S with old batterie, the one that measure 340-342mm. This was the first desisgn and it was designed on my frame. The hole for charging port fit my frame. After a while we saw that the hole is not in the same position on every bike. So, if you want to charge the bike, while the battery is inside the frame, if you are lucky, the holes will match, but there is a possibility, that you will not be able.
2. Old D4S, universal. Picture with number 2. This is for D4S with old batterie (340-342mm), and here you can customize based on your frame. You have to drill a 11mm hole to put the charging port. Basically, you will put the adapter inside the frame, you will mark the hole for charging, drill the hole, and put the connector for charging in place.
3. New D4S, unviersal. Picture with number 3. This is for D4S, with the new batterie, longer than 340mm. The walls are thinner, just to maxime the space inside the Adapter.
4. D2S. Picture with number 4. This is for D2/D2S. Same principle as the 2 above. This is not tested 100%. In this case, i will send 2 pcs for free, once you tested and is ok, you can send the money
I will use envelope with bubbles when i will send them, and you will receive traking numbers. I will send only one time per week. Here, the postal office is a nightmare and i dont want to waste time every day. Keep in mind, that it can take up to 1 month or worse for delivery. I had case last year, when i needed to send in france 2 pcs, one came in 3 weeks one in more than 1 month. This year, i send another adapter to France and it reach in 1 week.
Keep in mind, that these adapters are 3d printed. One will take me 6h to make, because i will use some settings to increase the strength. So i can make maximum 4 per day. The adapters will not be as smooth as a molded part made. You can see the layers and maybe some small defect. But there are only cosmetics.

XT60 pair - 1.5Euro
XT30 pair - 1 Euro
Shipping will be 6 euro in most of Europe countries.
Payment will be done by paypal or revolut. Please pay as family and friends. I will already have some commisions because euro, here is not the national currency, but i can cover them.
