FIJI 7's National Team sings for crowd to the end at the Pioneers 7's gala where they was the honored guest for the night
The Fiji national rugby sevens team is one of the most popular and successful rugby sevens teams in the world. Fiji has won the Hong Kong Sevens a record seventeen times since its inception in 1976. Fiji has also won the Rugby World Cup Sevens twice - in 1997 and 2005 (coincidentally, the two times it has been held in Hong Kong). Fiji is also known for winning the gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Brazil, the country's first medal in any event.[1]

You cry at this,when tourists leave they sing isa lei to you,I won’t be able to hold myself together this year as it’s my final time in Fiji for a few years,they are the most beautiful people I’ve met

I used to sing this with my Fijian brothers while I served in the British army. I was really lucky to have Fijians in my platoon. The Fijians are so humble, a beautiful kind spirited people who care not for themselves but always out to help others. I would have struggled a aweful if it wasn’t for instances like this when me and my friends from Fiji would sing when when we were having a shit time.

@@silveronsizzler humble even if they are also naughty 😀😀 humble in victory, humble in defeat in all things. The faith of Fijians is so strong as well, when I got injured in Afghanistan, a good friend of mine, a Fijian by the name of vosalaloma literally carried me for 4 miles on the way back to where we were staying, a little FOB ( forward operating base) in Sangin I got shot through both legs. If it wasn’t for vosa putting himself through the physical pain of carrying me with all my kit on (probably at the time around the 80kg with all my kit on) in the extreme afghan heat I don’t know how many more of us could have been hit that day. Vosa literally saved us that day and god knows what would have happened if he didn’t leave Fiji to serve alongside us brits! 2 nations, 1 Army 🇫🇯 🇬🇧
