This video has been created for those who are learning Japanese language.
It's only used hiragana and katakana.
There is no kanji.
So it's suitable for beginners and intermediate Japanese learners.
I go to various places in Japan every time and talk with some people.
You can learn Japanese that are actually used.
Let's listen to real Japanese that is not in ordinary Japanese textbooks.
I'm paying a lot of attention to Japanese subtitles. But I'm not good at writing English, so there may be some mistakes in English subtitles.
Please consider English subtitles to be your help only if you don't understand my Japanese.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you feel my videos are good, treat me a cup of coffee !! ☕
This is what i call content to learn japanese, shows real situations, with real people and doesn't sell random courses. Japanese is just a beautiful language.
Sometimes I forget why I study japanese, but this videos had just awaken my passion and reminded me of all the beautiful sounds and sights that fascinate me so much! Cry of a crow on a spacious lonely street, a mysterious small shrine between the modern houses, automatic and yet so beautiful voice of the elevator announcer, they all struck me! Goodbye suica, we had a good time together! And your english is very good, subtitles help a lot to remember all the words :) This is a very meaningful work :)
Absolutely love it. Gold content. Not only because the translation and written in hiragana, but also due to the fact that you are walking around, showing the environment and culture. This is immersion at it's finest, which is probably the closest thing to actually going there and learn it while talking to people. ありがとうございます
I live in Sri Lanka and I can't help but see how similar our roads here in the big cities and the roads and vehicles in Japan are so similar. Maybe because we've been using Japanese cars for a really long time we started building the infrastructure around them? This feels like a walk around in a familiar place, making me feel all kinds of nostalgic! I wish I can visit Japan for once. ありがとうございました勇介さん!
it's a crazy good idea to go outside and film real life japanese. I've been to a lot of language schools and none can express or show me a real feeling for the language. It's always so abstract (hard to explain) that's why I quitted a lot of times learning japanese sadly. With your videos I can build a good relation to the language and the ACTUAL usage. Movies are one thing but you are staying on topic, explaining and even transcipting into Furigana. Much appreciation for all of your effort!! Splendid idea you had there my friend.ドイツのありがとうございます。
JLPT N3 is pretty difficult for many foreigners to understand because there are many ambiguous expressions. In the case of real conversations, you can see the expression of the person you are talking to, so it should be easier to understand. Enjoy realistic conversations, not just exams !!
This is great Japanese learning program with accurate subtitles, it is vivid and entertain as you are really walking in Tokyo. During I stay in Tokyo in 1976 for learning Japanese, only can learn languish from books, from instructor teaching, in that time there was no such as PC, video, RU-vid, so convenience for people to learn languish, only a few and very expensive can find at languish school, or special organization but usually can't help too much. Thank a lots for your enthusiasm work.
Thank you for your heart-felt comment. (^^)/\(^^) Oh, in Tokyo in 1976 !? When you were in Japan in 1976, you must have had a hard time. Because Japan at that time was not internationalized at all. By the way, I was born in Tokyo in 1976. Life is very mysterious. Because a person who was born at that time and a foreigner who was learning Japanese at that time are speaking here.
I've just watched 2 videos. The content is fantastic. I sometimes watch when I take an office break. Now I do know a little about how things work in Japan. I saw people stand on the left while taking escalator. Is this kind of nature? I've never been to japan but I know everyone say thank you after received something because I've seen a lot in Japanese films. I'm self-studying the language last week. By the way, You smoked a lot. Do you? You bought 4 box of cigarettes. :D
@moshimoshi.yusuke
@moshimoshi.yusuke 3 года назад
Standing on the left side of escalator is an unspoken rule in Tokyo and the surrounding areas. On the other hand, people around Osaka area are standing on the right side. That's what everyone does naturally. Yeah, I do smoke, but not so many. (^。^)y-~
I still come back to these older videos, there's something charming about them. I sometimes miss going out and about in the city, I don't miss living in one but sometimes you do get some nice views of snowy environments and such.
Hi Yusuke san. Thank you for your videos. Usually in shops when the person thanks you, you just reply はい, but when you got the 500 yen back at the station you replied ありがとうございます. Why in that particular interaction did you say thank you rather than the usual はい?
Hi, Skuu-san! There is no reason for that, but I said so because I asked for a more time-consuming request than a normal shopping.
This is a nice way to learn and improve japanese listening and reading skill! Thank you so much for doing this types of video, I learn a lot and I love the way you film all of this. It's an original way and seeing the city/life while you speak is very interesting. I plan to do a "working holiday" visa (Sorry, I don't know the english word, but in french it's called "Visa : vacances travail (PVT)") in Japan in the future. This Suica card seem to be very handy and I think I will rewatch this video to memorise the sentences you used at the counter/konbini :).
Can i ask you something? Suica or icoca which one is better for osaka?
There is almost no difference in function between Suica and ICOCA. But I've heard that ICOCA is more convenient "in Osaka" because it can be used at many stores.
Are these suica cards free? Then you just have to add money after?
