Today, we're focusing on how you can file your own VA disability claims without needing to involve third-party attorneys. First step: find your closest regional office. You can do this by calling 800.827.1000, where a counselor will direct you to the nearest facility and connect you with an accredited representative, like a Veteran Service Officer (VSO), who can help you complete and submit your claim forms.
There's no need for third-party involvement; everything can be handled directly within the VA system. As of March this year, it takes an average of 159.2 days to adjudicate a claim. If approved, you receive back pay from the day you filed, tax-free, which could amount to a significant sum. So, avoid those third-party fees and go straight to the source.

Remember to join the Veteran Citizens Alliance Party and help us ensure veterans have a strong voice in Washington, D.C. Let’s empower ourselves and each other. Have a great day and rock on, folks!
