I have registered a free domain name from freenom website. In dns panel I have created "A record" which map public ip address to domain name. It takes 24 to 48 hour for the propagation of domain name all over the world. I am using nslookup command which is used for resolution of domain name to ip address.
IP address is a number which is hard to remember so instead of using ip address to access ftp server, I use domain name to access filezilla ftp server online.
