After competing in his first game back from a suspected concussion that sidelined him for the past six months, Filip Chytil was not on the ice for the Rangers’ morning skate on Saturday ahead of Game 4 against the Hurricanes due to what the team described as “illness.”
Head coach Peter Laviolette classified the Czech forward as a game-time decision.
“He felt great [Friday], went to the team meal,” Laviolette said of Chytil, who was glowing in his first postgame interview on Thursday. “Woke up this morning and didn’t feel well.”

He looked good in the post-game interview but who knows. These concussion symptoms can pop back up at any time. Him not skating in practice is not a good sign.

From my great sources, Chytil got a slight food poisoning. He's sh**ting liquid. He will play tonight. It's a matter if he wants to s**t himself while playing. He should play with that. It will clear a path for him on the ice for breakaways! LGR, let's go for the sweep Boys!!!!!

Agree. On the road when you can’t match mines I like Brodzinski centering that 4th line. I think Goodrow also plays better on the wing.

@@raoulduke3770 Playoff games are usually very close games which can go into overtime. Some games may last very long. I prefer having players who can play more minutes and not be a defensive liability. The truth be told; Brodzinski is a better player than Rempe!
