He’s already a 7/10 goalkeeper and for his age that’s worth a gamble but the question mark is why not sell Sanchez and keep him and Petrovic no one can convince me Petrovic isn’t a better goalkeeper than Sanchez
Petrovic is extremely poor on the ball and his underlying save numbers were horrible. Like the numbers that compare your expected saves vs the ones you actually make. He let in a lot of goals (allegedly) that he should have saved. That can be due to Poch's system and the defense chopping and changing every week, but we have data crunchers running the team. Also the fact that Petro loved to play long whenever he was under pressure. They want to give Maresca a ball playing keeper. I just hope Jorgensen can be the guy. We missed out on Verbruggen last year who was a top rare goalkeeping prospect and performed well in his debut season and then started at the Euros.
@@KidCudi72 Chelsea are doing something weird. They can buy Hermansen from Leicester for £45m - he's arguably the best young goalkeeper on the market today and worth every penny. His play is mesmerising and his numbers are off the charts, as if the stats machine had broken down. And he has proven himself to be a great fit for Maresca's system (he has flourished in it). That would be £9m per year for Chelsea - nothing hard.
@@K41Z3RR I can never tell if our strategy is due to not having the funds available or if Jorgensen and say Veiga really was our guy over Calafiori/HIncapie/Murillo etc. I hope they have access to numbers and data that we do not, and believe that these players are the ones that can bring us back into prominence.
Many are writing him off before he even gets here. He has some reflexes of Neuer. The way he faces the striker and how he dives, some similarities to Neuer. Not comparing him to the GOAT. Ofc he’s my GOAT and I watched him a lot and his highlights even till now. Not being under much pressure at Chelsea will bring the best out of him more. he sets himself well before a shot and always reacts after, seems decent. Time will tell if he'll be able to pass as this vid doesnt really show much. We need a keeper and this guy is young and shows potential 👍
Villarreal last year conceded like 64 goals (also scored 64) in the league (he missed 10 games though) , so his defence is bloody awful, so I question what they saw with his short passing around the back to a defence that were terrified of the ball 😂
If truly he is Kepa, then there is no way he is saving any of those long range shorts, because that is Kepa's weakest point. They must be angry that Chelsea are taking their top goalkeeper away. I remember City fans saying Chelsea paid too much for Palmer who don't have a goal in Premier league. Then how is Palmer doing now?
