Well done - love how this interview confronts and addresses lots of topics in a short amount of time. Topics in our own life’s and ones we think about as we transition to a new life in the Philippines. And I also enjoyed the well thought out questions, discussion and their responses.
Sam has an incredibly bright head on her shoulders. Let's hope the two of you form your own school together where you can teach Filipino's vitally important information that they don't receive from the main curriculum. Maybe if she has some good financial literacy knowledge then she could also help teach her family to save / invest and teach them to look after themselves, and not just be the provider. Personally speaking, I don't expect my kids to provide for me. I am there to provide for them and to teach them to be successful as adults in society (wherever that society is). I give them financial literacy education and they can use this to build their own wealth. I also have a lot of respect for her decision to stay away from social media. Things like Facebook, Insta, X, etc are terrible for your mental health as you're always comparing yourself against others, or scrolling through endless stories of sadness (because social media never shows you the happy stuff). Settling for the wrong person is absolutely the right answer. Life is short, too short to waste months or years with someone who makes that time miserable. Great video as always Steph. I hope Sam will share more of her time with you in the future as it would be really good to see how she gets on (I'm expecting her to be a future elected President of the Philippines - if she isn't then it's a big loss for your country as I have no doubt that she would do a lot of good during her tenure).
Be careful what you wish for! Government and laws can never truly protect everyone. If you beg them to begin intervening in your individual lives and businesses, IT WILL NEVER STOP. Take responsibility for your own safety.
She´s pretty and cute nose... and escaping unsocial-media is safer too... do things for yourself, not others... the only pressure is from you... Ideal of being happy together shows maturity... Finance / Breadwinning costs opportunities in life... Let me know if she needs a guy in his 50´s
Great video my friend I would love to sit down and have a conversation with her just to pick her brain I can tell she is very intelligent or a deep thinker with lots of ideas
Sad to see your friend with such a promising future as a lawyer get cut short with the realities of life as the safety net of her parents. She would better serve and enrich the lives of all filipinos as a lawyer fighting for just causes. Great interview.
Now I see why she wants to go to Canada. When you do interviews, you seem to be more mature and intelligent in asking your questions, except one that you asked would you would like to be with a bad person, NO ONE WILL SAY YESS😂 Other than that, I like your interviews more than your streams. You don't feel you are being challenged, and you get irritated a little. But your interviews.... Great.
