He learned his 3rd language since he was 12yrs old. From then, he learned 14 more languages within 6 yrs span. So thats about 2 to 3 languages learned within a year. Additionally, he learned not just the language but also the accents! That's a true polyglot you got there! Note: His mother tongue was tagalog then English his 2nd language. I'm a bit confused where if tagalog is his mother tongue or ybanag (another language in the philippines) because he grew up there.

i studied child development back in college and i can totally agree that the younger you are, the easier it is to learn a new language..for up to 25 years of age. after this age, it will be much more difficult for us to do this, unless you will be using that language on a daily basis

Hi guys, I'm from Indonesia. I just wanna you know that he said "Philippines is Indonesia's neighbors. Many of Indonesian words are similar to Tagalog. A lot of Indonesia people help me to speak Indonesian and they're teach me to speak in slang language. Sometime i'm teaching them to speak Tagalok and sometime I learn to speak Indonesia with Philippines' people who still learn Indonesian language". Esperanto is an invented language by a doctor. He make that language as he wanted it to be the universal language.

He’d have NO TROUBLE where ever he went in the world ✊️😎 I only learned one other language while in school & that was Italian (we had a choice of Italian, Spanish & French) & I grew up in a predominantly “Italian Neighbourhood” in the state where I live. I am a seafarer and i work with 67 different nationalities i heard more of that languages...he knows how to speak and their accent...unbelievable.

FUN FACT: Philippines National Hero Dr. Jose Rizal can speak more than 22 languages. He has more than 6 monuments all over the world. Majority of Filipinos that grow up in metro manila speak 2 languages (tagalog and English) but people living in provinces can speak 3 languages like me (local dialect, tagalog and English) but some can speak 4 or more especially those with Chinese blood or have studied in Chinese school. Also many Filipinos can speak English in different accents especially those working in call centers.

I can only speak 3 languages fluently 😔 I wish I could speak more languages But this my unanswered question Why everybody speaks different languages even though we could just speak one language? But in my opinion it does have a unique thing in different places to have different languages.

To those who doubt Rizal speaking in different lsnguages..try searching google...Jose Carrillo's forum..Did Rizal ever sprak and write in English?....you will find a handwritten copy of Rizal's letter to Ferdinand Blumentritt expressing his condolonces...written in german language then shifting to English..he also did some translation from german language into tagalog like the play by Friedrich Van Schiller..
