@c1981 It is the job of a heel to make a babyface better so that their matches get more entertaining as time goes on. FChamp knows this and did that as one of the FGC's greatest heels.
What I find interesting was KBR's wins towards the end. I wonder if he had just stuck with his haggar team instead of picking any, then maybe? FChamp would still win obviously but who knows. Having said that, If Ryan would have done that to the wrong person ... lol.
Right. I just hope KBR wasn't being serious by picking all these other teams that are other players' main teams. It's just another layer of egg on his face by him thinking that he's mastered the whole fucking game.
+Steven Del Toro (NeveN) Well after watching it a second time with a few friends, they pretty much saw it as KBR slapping FChamp in the face for being disrespectful. Like a--"Oh you're going to do that? Okay, I'll do this to you then. Here's 2-3 wins with 2-3 random teams"--kinda thing.. I think KBR was playing his game as well.
yo!!! tournaments will never be as tense as they were back in these days.... Fchamp was a legend and was letting KBR know that he is going to have to fight for that win... i miss these types of moments!!! no fighting, no saltiness... just straight proving yourself through the game... KBR redeemed himself but Fchamp was getting in that ass horribly...
KBR vs Frutsy during EVO. they were ACTUALLY playing and when KBR got opened up by frutsy he paused and went back to character select and told him it was a "button check"
Angelic tweeted that it wasn't KBR that stopped the match the EVO officials stopped it because they started playing without an official start or some shit.
Now I will say that I know almost nothing about how this game works, but I have a few questions. Is this game really just touch-of-death combos? If not, how are you expected to escape being juggled, and why can't anyone seem to do it? And doesn't this Phoenix character do just a little too much damage?
This game just like MvC2 has a lot of combos that lead to instant death after landing a hit into juggle combos. Pretty much you don't get out of it unless they drop the combo or guess right on the tag link input. A lot of 50/50 cross up mixups are thrown with combo's+assist to get through people's guard. Yeah Phoenix does a lot of damage but as it's shown later she has a downside when you force a snapback as she has extremely low health. It's a high risk high reward vs top players but against your average joe it's pretty broken.
+Afro Smash when phoenix dies with 5 bars she turns into dark phoenix, which is probably the most broken character ever seen in a fighting game. The moment she transforms she emits that "round aura shot" that is safe on block and will push away enemies, however there are a lot of techs to take her down right after. If you search for "anti phoenix techs" on youtube you'll find a lot of those. Haggar has a couple of good techs to deal with her, but he needs his x-factor to cancel the pushback and KBR did not have it.
lol i like both of them. underdog always best to watch but the champion is always a fan favorite. KBR wont take evo this year tho but he will be top 3 i hope.
He noticed FChamp had his main team downloaded. So he switches teams to get him off guard after playing so many different teams. Kane built momentum while FChamp had to readjust to the same team after clowning around.
F Champ is the ideal heel; he can win in dramatic fashion with "low blows" and will yell in your face all day, but he'll also lose in dramatic fashion and put the faces over with the crowd. Folks who despise him and give extra props to KBR kind of prove that point; KBR's a beast, but after Champ did this shit, you REALLY wanted to see him get revenge, and as EVO champ you knew he could. And lets be honest; who really gets hurt here? It's still just a game, and the people involved know that the drama is mostly fabricated. It's all in good fun.
Aún no entiendo porque tanto odio de Fchamp a KBR, es sólo un juego, esta bien que sea bueno en el, pero y los modales? Cada vez menos gente apoya a FChamp. Si esta celoso porque KBR a ganado últimamente algunos torneos, porque no fue a jugarlos también en vez de tanto llorar. KBR es nuestro campeón y saca la cara por su país, gracias por darnos tantas alegrías en torneos que nos has representado. Y muy bien al no rebajarse a responder a tal persona que parecía un bebé .

+Bunji Kugashira te apuesto a que no le harias nada si fueras figura publica de juegos ya que te banearian de los torneos. muchos hablan por hocicones otros por hablar el problema es que no entienden como funciona, esto no es un torneo de tu pueblo o escuela, y no te van a banear de las arcade de tu casa sino de los eventos masivos que son publicos
